Can we say "criminal", under McCain-Feingold? Because if we can, shouldn't we put someone behind bars or fine the snot out of them? Or are we trusting the courts too much here?
It's not enough that Republicans have to avoid an appearance of impropriety. It's necessary that we demand that no one is above the law, no matter how stupid we may feel that the law is.
