Short and to the point for the media

How come when Swift Boat Vets speak you shut them up with

"Where you ON Kerry's boat?"

And then attack them.

So have you attacked William B. Rood also because he was not ON Kerry's boat.?

"You'll never forget the sound of a fifty caliber machine gun firing at you, which begs the question: How does someone not remember being fired at?"

VC didn't use 50's ( much ) - the big question is how was noone else hurt except Kerry who bumped his shoulder ?

ABCNNBCBS is in its well-oiled Klinton Kover-up mode. It's a killing machine that worked miracles for 8 years and it's HUNGRY! God help us all.

The DNC is dusting off a video clip of one of the Swifties "speaking for Kerry" at a Senatorial re-election stop" The words spoken "in support" are; "noted for his bravado and was among the finest in the unit."

Wonder if there are any Vets out in Freeperland that would want those words used in a "Complete the Record" FitRep going before a selection board or who sat on selection boards that think these are words of praise?

Kerry did at campaign time and his DNC handlers still do.

I know if these words were used in a "Complete the Record" FitRep for a selection board that I was to have my records go before I'd be getting my Resume updated and start looking for a job on the outside.

The DNC can use this

John Kerry and War Crimes in Vietnam

He was in command of a Swift Boat
and ordered his men to do these things.
Listen to this 1971 audio clip in Kerry's own words.

Verrrrrrrry interesting....

Kerry's DD 214 lists a Silver Star with a combat “V” (for valor). As the major correctly observes, the “V” is never awarded with the Silver Star. But the actual wording on Kerry’s DD 214 (see www.johnkerry.com) is: “SILVER STAR WITH COMBAT ‘V’.”

There is an abundance of anecdotal evidence that a combat “V” (called a “Combat Distinguishing Device”) is simply not awarded with a Silver Star. For example, a former Vietnam War POW told us that he has “three SSs, and there was no V for any of them.” Countless other Silver Star recipients all say the same thing. Why? Because, among other reasons, it would be redundant to award a Silver Star for “gallantry” (the statutory term) and then embellish it with a “V” for valor.

Most conclusive, however, is that the law is very clear about the award of Combat Distinguishing Devices.

As long as he was embelleshing the paperwork to include overwhelming forces of non-existent VC hidden in foxholes and intense enemy fire, he might as well have added the little V for Valor in the citation. (Did the approving signatories not even READ the applications he submitted for these self-nominated awards???)

I've heard it many times to include the first time he uttered those words and yes I'm that old.

Just finished "The Book" and will be passing it around. The Dust Cover is mounted in my truck's rear window for all to see.

It's payback time for the Commie controlled anti-Vietnam War crowd time.

All good things come to he who waits.

What's that old Chinese proverb? Oh yes --- Revenge is best served cold.

Being a little creative I checked on some WW2 submarine hero medals: Check on these yourselves. http://www.battlebelow.com/awards2.htm

The Bronze Star comes without a "V". The Bronze Star also is awarded with a Combat "V" for Valor.

Notice that the WW2 Silver Star Medal doesn't have a Combat "V". Now these WW2 submariners did encounter the enemy. But no Combat "V". Why? Because a Silver Star is given for combat and the "V" would be redundant!

The Navy Cross has no "V".

The Distinguished Service Medal has no "V"

The Purple Heart has no "V".

But, Kerry has a Silver Star with a "V". Why? Maybe Democrats are given different kinds of medals? Ribbon? Especially when you recommend them to yourself?

They can only be excused if they are off investigating the SANDY BERGER story!

I just did a google and a Yahoo search, and the most recent articles were in July. Go figure.

I am delighted that the Vietnam War-era treason and other shenanigans of that era are finally getting nationwide exposure. It all affects whether or not we survive this war as a sovereign nation, IMO.

There are not enough pejorative words in all the dictionaries in the world to properly and completely define the contempt I have for mainstream media employees.

Writer Gilman Barndollar reminded me of some stupid "journalists" tricks [my characterization] as he discussed the early days of modern conservatism and Goldwater.

In a primary campaign speech Goldwater said he saw nothing wrong with the NATO commander having a decision making role in the use of nuclear weapons, something that had been the practice since Eisenhower. Reporters added an "s" to commander and thus began the reckless trigger happy image of Goldwater. Later he suggested using low-yield nukes to clear jungle and expose Communist supply lines that supplied weapons to our enemy. That rattled some media cages!

Other stupid reporter tricks: Walter Cronkite reported (lied) that Goldwater would miss the JFK funeral because he'd be making a political speech; Cronkite also lied that Goldwater shot back "No comment!" when asked about the JFK assassination; Daniel Schoor said that Goldwater's consent to an interview with Der Spiegel meant he was attempting to link up with hard line right wing (in those days right wing was misconstrued to mean Nazi, National Socialists) Germans; Schoor added that while in Germany Goldwater would visit Hitler's Bavarian retreat, Berchtesgaden; Sam Donaldson referred to Goldwater's delegates at the 1964 convention as "the bund;" and a liberal commentator at the convention reported that the "Chimeras of fascism hung like fogbanks."

That's mainstream "journalism" then and now. I've hated them for forty years. Make 'em squeal louder! Get the rope!

That is not the same as the After Action report which Kerry would have filed and the likely source of the exaggerations

Then what was Chris Wallace referring to this morning? . he kept calling them after action reports
