Thank you! Glad you liked it. :^D
Hey, don't pick on these media guys, they are only following orders from the DNC about what to report and how to report it!
Being a little creative I checked on some WW2 submarine hero medals: Check on these yourselves. http://www.battlebelow.com/awards2.htm
The Bronze Star comes without a "V". The Bronze Star also is awarded with a Combat "V" for Valor.
Notice that the WW2 Silver Star Medal doesn't have a Combat "V". Now these WW2 submariners did encounter the enemy. But no Combat "V". Why? Because a Silver Star is given for combat and the "V" would be redundant!
The Navy Cross has no "V".
The Distinguished Service Medal has no "V"
The Purple Heart has no "V".
But, Kerry has a Silver Star with a "V". Why? Maybe Democrats are given different kinds of medals? Ribbon? Especially when you recommend them to yourself?
might have been threatened with the old "Teresa is coming to see you and sing songs to you and give you her ideas on life for 7 hours locked in a closet" torture...
'"Where's the press on this? I mean ALL the press."
They can only be excused if they are off investigating the SANDY BERGER story!
I just did a google and a Yahoo search, and the most recent articles were in July. Go figure.
There are not enough pejorative words in all the dictionaries in the world to properly and completely define the contempt I have for mainstream media employees.
Writer Gilman Barndollar reminded me of some stupid "journalists" tricks [my characterization] as he discussed the early days of modern conservatism and Goldwater.
In a primary campaign speech Goldwater said he saw nothing wrong with the NATO commander having a decision making role in the use of nuclear weapons, something that had been the practice since Eisenhower. Reporters added an "s" to commander and thus began the reckless trigger happy image of Goldwater. Later he suggested using low-yield nukes to clear jungle and expose Communist supply lines that supplied weapons to our enemy. That rattled some media cages!
Other stupid reporter tricks: Walter Cronkite reported (lied) that Goldwater would miss the JFK funeral because he'd be making a political speech; Cronkite also lied that Goldwater shot back "No comment!" when asked about the JFK assassination; Daniel Schoor said that Goldwater's consent to an interview with Der Spiegel meant he was attempting to link up with hard line right wing (in those days right wing was misconstrued to mean Nazi, National Socialists) Germans; Schoor added that while in Germany Goldwater would visit Hitler's Bavarian retreat, Berchtesgaden; Sam Donaldson referred to Goldwater's delegates at the 1964 convention as "the bund;" and a liberal commentator at the convention reported that the "Chimeras of fascism hung like fogbanks."
That's mainstream "journalism" then and now. I've hated them for forty years. Make 'em squeal louder! Get the rope!
Then what was Chris Wallace referring to this morning? . he kept calling them after action reports
Whoever finally gets copies of Kerry's military records .. I hope they get them from the Pentegon
I don't trust anything Kerry has

Rood Analysis: "ambush" scenario would not warrant Kerry citation
Kerry's Silver Star incident is supposed to be told with such bravado you'd think Rood could come up with something more colorful to justify its awarding. An ambush without much action and a couple-few if any more fleeing, if even that's to be believed, or even minor activity described as being from the other side of the river aside ...
Here is how Kerry's citation describes the incident (Unfit for Command pages 81-82):
On a request from U.S. Army advisors ashore, Lieutenant (junior grade) KERRY ordered PCFs 94 and 23 further up river to suppress enemy sniper fire. After proceeding approximately eight hundred yards, the boats were again taken under fire from a heavily foliated area and B-40 rocket exploded close aboard PCF 94, with utter disregard for his own safety and the enemy rockets, he again ordered a charge on the enemy, beached his boat only ten feet from the VC rocket position, and personally led a landing party ashore in pursuit of the enemy. Upon sweeping the area in an immediate search uncovered an enemy rest and supply area which was destroyed. The extraordinary daring and personal courage of Lieutenant (junior grade) KERRY in attacking a numerically superior force in the face of intense fire were responsible for the highly successful mission.
Here is Rood's recollection (and remember he ain't answering any questions!):
As we headed for the riverbank, I remember seeing a loaded B-40 launcher pointed at the boats. It wasn't fired as two men jumped up from their spider holes.
We called Droz's boat up to assist us, and Kerry, followed by one member of his crew, jumped ashore and chased a VC behind a hoocha thatched hutmaybe 15 yards inland from the ambush site.
Not long after that, Kerry returned, reporting that he had killed the man he chased behind the hooch. He also had picked up a loaded B-40 rocket launcher, which we took back to our base in An Thoi after the operation.
As to be expected, since Kerry recorded all the "highlights" of his 3 month exploits in combat, the Tribune even includes a photograph of Kerry with the loaded rocket launcher.
That's what Rood says. It was a LOADED ROCKET LAUNCHER, presumably the same which he previously confirmed "wasn't fired."
That's important because it means nothing Rood can testify to was used against Kerry in his "attacking a numerically superior force in the face of intense fire" after a "B-40 rocket exploded close aboard PCF 94", as his Silver Star states that he was rewarded for.
As for other "action", Rood asserts merely "the man Kerry chased was not the "lone" attacker at that site, as O'Neill suggests. There were others who fled. There was also firing from the tree line well behind the spider holes and at one point, from the opposite riverbank as well. It was not the work of just one attacker."
The only description he can provide is that "two men jumped up from their spider" before Kerry "chased a VC". The fact Kerry shot the wounded kid in the back or whether or not he wore a loincloth remains irrelevant. What is clear from even Rood's statement is that nothing which has been described involved "attacking a numerically superior force in the face of intense fire" which Kerry's report of the incident suggested he should have been so rewarded.
Where are the rocket attacks Kerry's ambush citation speaks of ?
One last point of interest - there may be some deception involved on the part of the Chicago Tribune because the document they have produced (as directed to by the Kerry campaign and referenced below) and depicted as an "After Action Report" actually appears to be the follow-up from headquarters, the "Congratulatory message" Rood speaks of in his article as received "from our task force headquarters in Cam Ranh Bay."
That is not the same as the After Action report which Kerry would have filed and the likely source of the exaggerations, which even Rood has not testified to, which would warrant the description Kerry was supposedly so cited for, exactly as the SwiftVets have always indicated would likely be discovered ... if Kerry would only release all of his military records!
JLo, you get the Dick Tracey award today!
CNN just claimed that he was on Kerrys boat. Why dont I believe them????
"CNN just claimed that he was on Kerrys boat. Why dont I believe them????"
Brand New Media Lies PING
CNN must be reading the thread

"Dont forget to put in for a purple heart"
Thats so sad! Look what that self-centered, traitorous piece of excrement has done!!
"Get the rope!"
and start yanking on it, hard. Our Vietnam vets deserve our support.
Thanks for the ping Tonk.
sounds like a vinner...when the next installment? :))
rood was there! He knows, man! If he says kerry is a big war hero, and the majority of the witnesses disagree, then the majority of Viet Nam Vets are not just the baby killers kerry says they are. They're also liars. The Navy said kerry earned his medals, so it must be true. When a handful of vets say kerry's a war hero, it must be true. When the majority of Vets who witnessed kerry's actions say he's a fraud, it can't be true, because the majority of Vets are delusional, liars, cowards, and baby killers. I'm sure kerry believes all that. He also believe Vets and average Americans are stupid enough to vote for him after all his accusations. He's wrong on all counts.
Well. You can get sample of that kind of writing here: http://www.whiskeycreekpress.com/books/electivedecisions.shtml
Thanks for the compliments. I really appreciate it.
I "tried" to watch the replay of MTP and I am LIVID.
This damn traitor must be soundly defeated.
The V on the Silver star is very interesting......

You are awesome. When do you get the time to find/post all of this? Thanks Brother.
"When do you get the time to find/post all of this?"
I'm "on duty" until Nov 2nd
Great catch! Thanks for the ping!
MSM Nailed again!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it. :)
The V on the Silver star is very interesting......
I am waiting (probably for a veeery long time) to hear Kerry's explanation. I would assume that any explanation will include a Republican conspiracy or else the V was only given to those who committed atrocities in Cambodia.
Still waiting for their attacks to begin.
I reckon with the lamestream media, it's not necessarily "What's good for the goose is good for the gander", huh?
The list of what he tells that is true is short.
Rood made another very telling point which I believe substantiates that Kerry lied about ferrying special operations personnel into Cambodia on his swift boat. Rood indicated that one of the major drawbacks of the PCFs was the noise made by the 12 cylinder diesel engines - sufficient to inform every VC in the area that they were coming and to set up ambushes. Absolutely the wrong type of craft the SEAL teams wanted to use for insertions. This tells me that Kerry was lying about those "missions".
"So have you attacked William B. Rood also because he was not ON Kerry's boat.?"
... and isn't Rassmann's 15 minutes of fame based on the time he was NOT on Kerrys boat ?
"This tells me that Kerry was lying about those "missions".
I would also suspect that Kerry would have it on film ....

"Phony Vietnam veterans alleged in books
Guenter Lewy's 1978 book America in Vietnam (pages 316-317) and B.G. Burkett and Glenna Whitley's Stolen Valor (Verity Press, Inc., Dallas, Texas)(pages 113, 131-137) contain similar information about alleged flaws in Lane's book. Neither book, however, refutes any of the testimony given during the Winter Soldier Investigation.
Lawyer and leftist activist Mark Lane was one of the organizers of Winter Soldier. In 1970, Lane had published a book called Conversations With Americans purporting to be interviews with Vietnam veterans about war crimes, containing Vietnam tales of atrocities. Reporter Neil Sheehan showed some interviewed in Lane's book had never served in Vietnam and others had not been in the situations they described. Lane admitted he did not check military records, as confirmation of details was not relevant. Lane later confirmed these militarty records.
The following are often falsely listed as being participants in Winter Soldier, but were actually in Lane's book instead. This confusion is probably due to Stolen Valor having an explanation of Lane's history within the section on Winter Soldier.
Chuck Onan, stock room clerk in Beaufort, S.C.
Michael Schneider, deserted in Europe and deserted again in the USA.
Terry Whitmore, was in an unpopulated area of Vietnam.
Garry Gianninoto, medical corpsman at battalion headquarters.
VVAW leader and Winter Soldier co-organizer Al Hubbard lied about being an officer, and sustaining war injuries - but he never testified at Winter Soldier .
According to the investigative work of Burkett, Lewy and others, there were many imposters, liars, and plain nutjobs who infiltrated the ranks of the anti-war movement, and, in some cases, testified to war crimes and atrocities that never occurred in order to get attention, sympathy, and, in one documented case, medals and honors."
>What's that old Chinese proverb? Oh yes --- Revenge is best served cold.
I thought it was Klingon.
