"hip-hop mogul turned politico Russell Simmons, who pulled Kerry aside for a stern tete-à-tete on how better to relate to the voters."

Kerry probably had a "deer in the headlights" stare as he thought, "I hope this negro isn't going to mug me."

"'Sex and the City" creator Darren Star, who co-hosted a $25,000-per-person dinner with furniture designer Mitchell Gold. It was attended by 250 guests including Sen. Chuck Schumer, actor Peter Boyle, Infinity Radio chief John Sykes"

Good group... you got a porn producer, a dirtbag Senator, a has been actor, and a syndicated radio chief who's been fined over and over for putting garbage on the air. These are the people who support Kerry.

"I was thinking of voting for John Kerry, but after this, no way," sniffed one.

A shallow person like this really scares me -- he's going to base his decision on the future of the country, not on the issues, but on the fact that he was inconvenienced on a Sunday morning.

Hey bud, there are a zillion good reasons not to vote for Kerry. Educate yourself and pick one.

Jimmy Buffet...Hmmm, didn't Jimmy Buffet perform at some crooked exec's infamous birthday bash, the party where they had champagne coming out of a statue's, ahem...well, you know. That party for Dennis What's-His-Name. If so, smooth move by the Kerry campaign.

Sounds like a new version of the Village People.

You didn't cite what the "observer" also said..."Who does he think he is...the president?"

It sounds like this "shallow person" has keyed in on what the rest of us has noticed about Kerry...his pretentiousness!

Kerry said that to an audience of 250 that kicked in 25k each ($6.25 million).

It couldn't get funnier or more disconnected.

Thankfully, no pics of the has-beens and never-weres (wases?).

Play [polo, of course] lasted about 20 minutes before the heavens opened, sending the luxury-loving crowd diving for cover under the VIP tent — and then found themselves surrounded by a quagmire of sticky mud.

*chortle*

This story sounds like something Thurston Howell III would have dreamed while on Gilligan's Island. "Oh, to be amongst the rich people again! You would not believe what a bore the little people are. They're just awful - back me up on this one, Lovey."

LOL!!! A typical Democrat freak show with Teresa giving a demonstration of what a pompous wind bag she is. She must have been over/under medicated.... your guess is as good as mine.

"clear the way for Kerry, who was heading for breakfast with Steven Spielberg on Georgica Pond."

No doubt to discuss making another John "MAJOR HERO" sKerry movie to counter the Swifties.

I think you missed my point. Kerry's entourage inconveniences a few people on a Sunday and the one interviewed decided that this is the reason not to vote for Kerry?

Is that the depth of this man's political convictions? Sure we can all laugh and say: "ha - ha -- Kerry lost a vote", but I'd much rather have an informed electorate than a shallow one. And if this man wasn't inconvenienced that Sunday, would he still vote for Kerry in November? And if he can be persuaded to change his mind and not vote for Kerry based on being inconvenienced, could something equally as silly change his mind back again?

Like I said before, there I've got a zillion good reasons not to vote for Kerry, and none of them hinge on whether or not I was personally inconvenienced.

Meanwhile, first to collar the delayed presidential hopeful when he finally showed up was hip-hop mogul turned politico Russell Simmons, who pulled Kerry aside for a stern tete-à-tete on how better to relate to the voters.

If Kerry starts describing his candicay as "off the hook, yo", you know where it all started.
