Dick Cheney has always said he doesn't interest the Presidency.

I'm going to legally change my name to George W. Bush and run.

Owens and Santorum? Democrats? Two of the more conservative guys around!

Ditto on Tancredo though.

That would explain it I guess. But you said it, not me.

He's a great speaker too. Just demolishes the Dems with humour. He's on Dennis Miller occassionally and always a treat!

Mitt Romney would have a big advantage in the New Hampshire primary, being the governor from a neighboring state, and what he did with the Olympics in 2002 was pretty remarkable.

Strike Hagel from that list!

Amen to that! Hagel said last week he might run for president, he might run for senate or he might retire. I suggest Hagel defect to the RAT party where his criticisms and flip-flop-flips are more readily accepted.

Tancredo needs to be on that list.

You obviously care not one bit about beating Hillary in 2008. Typical.

Dick Cheney has always said he doesn't interest the Presidency.

And how many other candidates can you name who denied that they were interested in being president right up to the day that they started running for president?

I would prefer a current Governer, such as Sanford (sounds like the most conservative)or Romney, with Rice as the V.P.

Truth be told, I would put Rice at the top of the ticket just to see her whip Hillary's candy ass in three debates. I would love to see the look on Hillary's and the MSM's faces when they quickly realize that Hillary is not the smartest woman on the planet.

Eliminate all of the following from your list:

1. U.S. Senators (Frist, Hagel, etc.)
2. Those who have never held elected office (Rice)
3. Liberal Democrats (Pataki, Giuliani)

That ought to narrow your list down quite a bit.
