Yes, but he voted the right way mostly, and that is what counts.

Sorry -- but integrity accounts for an awful lot in my book. And Traficant had/has almost none.

Is there ANY Republican officeholder over the rank of councilman or somesuch who has endorsed Kerry?

McCain's come pretty close on occasion.

Sorry, but Easley will win easily.

I suppose it depends what you mean by easily. He may win by 5, he could even conceivably win by 10 (that would be 'easly'), but he may also lose.

I grew up in northeast Ohio not far from Youngstown. I think there are a lot of "Zell-Miller-Democrats" in Youngstown (and other cities) that are a lot smarter than tha Kerry Kamp thinks they are.

I believe the question refers to REPUBLICAN office holders. McCain is purely in it for himself and not a party affiliate.

Isn't Kerry the sports moron who didn't know a wolverine from a Buckeye? I'm sure the mayor is coming out in support of Bush since the head coach of OSU (Jim Trussell)was the head coach of Youngstown State and led YSU to several national titles. It should dawn on the residents of eastern Ohio that Kerry is just too stupid to lead our country!!!

Whatever, Traficante at least provided humor. I'd take him any time over Ted Kennedy.

the St.Paul city charter allows recalls like this, but
the MN Supreme court has ruled otherwise in the past.
.I like how one of the dork twins who started this recall
petition isn't even registered to vote and just moved to St.Paul from Murderapolis.
go figure

if your liberal demonrat and a Jeffords type does this,
it's called "maturing" or "growing in office".
Coleman got elected 1st as a dem, then again as a republican,so I believe it was due to keeping a lid on taxes, not just party affiliation.

That is a pretty outrageous statement to make and though I'm no fan of McCain, I do applaud his support of Bush this time around.
