In this Brooks & Dunn
world, I even miss Jerry
Reed! Remember this? --
--------------------------------------------------------------
Now Amos Moses was a Cajun
He lived by hisself in the swamp
He hunted alligator for a living
He just knock them in the head with a stump
Louisiana law gonna get ya Amos
It ain't legal huntin alligator
Down in the swamp now
Well everyone blamed his old man
For making him mean as a snake
When Amos Moses was a boy
His Daddy would use him for alligator bait
Tie a rope around his face and chuck him in the swamp
Alligator bait in a Louisiana bayou
About 45 minutes southeast of Thibodeaux Louisiana
Lived a man named Doc Mill Sap
And his pretty wife Hannah
They raised up a son who could
Eat his weight in groceries
They named him after a man of cloth
Called him Amos Moses
Now the folks around South Louisiana
Thought Amos was a hell of a man
He could trap the biggest, meanest alligator
And just use one hand
That's all he got left
Cause the alligator bit it
Left arm gone, clean up to the elbow
Well the sheriff got wind that Amos
Was in the swamp trappin' alligator skin
So he snuck in the swamp
Gonna get the boy
But he never come out again
Well I wonder where the
Louisiana sheriff went to
You can sure get lost in the Louisiana bayou
About 45 minutes southeast of Thibodeaux Louisiana
Lived a cat named Doc Mill Sap
And his pretty wife Hannah
They raised up a son who could
Eat his weight in groceries
They named him after a man of cloth
Called him Amos Moses
Sit down on em Amos
About 45 minutes southeast of Thibodeaux Louisiana
Lived a man named Doc Mill Sap
And his pretty wife Hannah
They raised up a son who could
Eat his weight in groceries
They named him after a man of cloth
Called him Amos Moses
[Amos Moses, Jerry Reed]
Don't blame the rest of the family for the sins of one radical member.
The left will probably try to spin this by saying that Stephen just wants his brother Alec to move out of the country to France "For real this time" so that he can have a free place to stay over there on vacation...
Did you ever see Stephen on the tv show The Mole? He wore t shirts or ball caps that had Christian themes on them. We (my husband and I) assumed from that that he was a Christian. I wonder how the Republicans found him?
Wouldn't you like to be a fly on the wall at a Baldwin family reunion or Thanksgiving dinner!
Although Harkin said Friday he wasn't "castigating Cheney for not serving in the military," Harkin's remarks came at a time when the Kerry presidential campaign was calling for civil dialogue during the campaign.
Is that supposed to be some kind of a joke?
Great line up of entertainers! I like them all. What I'd like to know is how this article went from convention entertainment to Riley and the Supreme Court? LOL It's like there's two articles wrapped into one. Strange.
That's ok--hate them. I could listen to Ronnie Dunn's voice all day and all night. Country music females like them, and the RNC is looking for female voters. NASCAR dads also like them, another demographic target group. They guarantee a tv audience. Even if you don't like to listen to them--they're better to watch on tv than Michael Moore (that handsome cad!).
Now if we could just confirm Britney!
bttt
Yah! I love Third Day.
"at the end of the show they had 4 marines appear on stage and stand at the four corners of the stage while tons of red, white, and blue confetti went everywhere - absolute pandamonium."
they did the same thing at the Allentown fair last year, with the same uproar from the crowd
Dr. Phil's wife LOVES Brooks and Dunn. (I'll bet Dr. Phil is a closet Republican.)
Wow. I did a google image search for Jaci Velasquez. What a looker. I've never seen a dem woman near that good. Or for that matter, Sara Evans ain't chopped liver & I heard elsewhere she will be at the pub convention. Not bad in the hottie department
Thanks for the in-depth bios on the performers.
I think I'll watch MXC instead!
love it!!!
Stephen Baldwin with his Baldwin brood at the Universal Studios Cinema premiere of Universal's The Flintstones In Viva Rock Vegas in Los Angeles - 4/15/2000
Yabba dabba do, Stephen Baldwin
You are a smokin'
Lee Ann Womack
Great, I saw them on CMT saying they wouldn't do it. I'm thrilled they are. I suspect the Swifty thing helped them make up their minds. It's easy to help support the guy running against a lying traitor.
Jaci Velasquez
They ought to take a rope and hang me. :^)
