Heck - even this transplanted Yankee knows that a boy is Billy and a girl is Billie!!!!!
Not that long ago I was accused by a poster (on another board, not FR) of hiding behind a made up anonymous screen name. Someone had a bit of egg on their face when I explained it was just a shortened version of my first name that I had been using and been called by for 40 years.
I didn't think of Malcolm Jamal Warner with your screen name, but guess that sounds reasonable! :) But I think I agree with your grandsons that you are beautiful - you sound that way anyway! :)
It's funny in your post #38 that you also thought *I* was a male FReeper! :)
Gabz: "A FReeper FRiend of mine and I used to privately ROFL at all the flirting that would go on during one of the FRiday chat threads...........She posted with a man's name and all the FReeperettes would flirt with her. She was very good at the act - never doing it to be deceptive, she was just going along with it as a game and over time many other FReepers got to know that the screen name happened to be a nom de plume she used in some of her activism work.
The interesting thing was that when she passed away earlier this year and I posted a thread about her - it was primarily the male Freepers that were unaware that she was not a he. The gals that knew, including me, had all continued with the game of flirting......
That is just too funny, Gabz! (not that she passed away - just that she 'let' some of the Freeperettes think she was a guy! YIKES!) What was the screen name?
Good day to FReepers everywhere.
Morning, BillieBlue! Really neat thread today. : )
Thank you. :*
"Oh, shove it,crybaby."
LOL! Love your drawing!
Thank you again, Mr. Wolf.
I'll be back later. : )
Phooey! You just got here!
Good afternoon FInest, I get my computer back this evening! I blew the hard drive, not the mother board. OUCH! Don't know how much the tech was able to recover. Thankfully I'll be back to full FReeping tomorrow.
Max McGarrity
wonderful news!!!!!!!!
Popping in to say "Howdy" before my charge arrives.
Tough to keep up with all the Swiftees threads, FR's Finest..., the Peterson trial (because Laci lived a couple of miles away) and news from the War in Iraq.
Your drawing hits the nail on the head with the cry-baby. And, I alway enjoy viewing your excellent drawings.
As I told the King of Ping on one of his posts last night, No amount of sugar-coating by the dems is gonna change the fact that Sen. Kerry is a traitor by all definitions of the UCMJ and US Code. They can pour all the Heinz Honey BBQ Sauce they want to try to sweeten history , but he's still a traitor for giving aid and comfort to the enemy in time of war.
We have guests arriving for a BBQ tonight. New friends from England we met last week through the following post on FR.
Reaching out to a family in need
Have a GREAT day, y'all.
LOL! You know, I'm always taken aback a bit when I see someone referring to bill clinton as "BillIE"! it's "BillY"!!!!
Good morning, Mr. Wise Owl! :)
Hope you were able to see all your birthday greetings Thursday!
I remember seeing that name - had no idea Max was a girl.
I can't read all the threads I want to either! There's just not enough time, and I don't want to miss anything!
Have a nice BBQ with your new friends. ((((((((((((((Diver))))))))))))))
Love what you've presented today, Miss Billie!
Sorry to say my computer keeps shutting down on me, saying 'I have a problem' - did a Restore, and it's still there.
Might not be able to be online today - - -
I just read the thread.
God Bless you and Mrs. Diver.
Enjoy your BBQ and your visit with your new friends.
Max was definitely all WOMAN!!! And truly a dear friend.
Even though she lived in California and I'm on the east coast we had become very close over the years. Most of our conversations were via the net, but we did get to spend a week with her and her family the summer of 2000 and would talk by phone every couple of months.

Really good work Billie. See that you have gone back to the "drawing board" (finally). The pledge looks new too, very creative! Guess we hostesses should let you have the weekend off more often. :)
