He's always come off as more conservative, and he's a born-again Christian.
He's not like his brothers he's a reborn. He was on Fox and Friends not too long ago. Totally different from them.
Was at Creation Festival '04 in Mt Union PA this year, and will be at GOP convention apparently.
I recently saw Stephen Baldwin being interviewed on television. He is unabashedly honest about his faith
in Christ; doesn't surprise me that he is a conservative.
Boy, I bet family dinners are interesting at the Baldwin reunions...
Steven Baldwin is a born-again Christian and a conservative, unlike his brothers who are leftists, looney and lost.
"One good apple don't fix the whole bunch"
It's good to know that people like him can change - after all he starred in the movie Threesome in which he plays a dumb jock who becomes open to the concept of homosexuality.
Stephen also led Billy to the lord and the 2 swear they'll lead Alec to Jesus too.
Well, Stephen has won over his other brother to Christianity, and they say they're both going to work on Alec..
I can't wait...
there's hope for Billy.
Stephen led him to Christ.
According to the Hollywood elite, he has this bizzare mindset that killing babies is wrong. What a silly man.
Wasn't Steve Baldwin the guy that played Animal Mother in "Full Metal Jacket"?
That wasn't him. The guy who played animal was the big guy in 'My Bodyguard'. A film that most of you have never heard of I'm sure.
Seriously??! Do you have a source for that info? That is great news indeed if it's true!!
Um...wasn't that the Osmonds?
(Dear Lord, I'm really showing my age now...)
Well, . . . Stephen is not exactly a rocket scientist (much like the rest of the clan), but it's nice to see him on board.
Adam Baldwin, no relation.
Good movie, actually. Very 70's, but good.
Adam Baldwin most recently was exceedingly eery in Angel, on TV.
Allens brother. Allen is the black sheep, and Stephen is the white.
He's stared in many Christian movies. Real good guy.
He actually converted because his wife did recently. He saw how her life and attitude changed and he decided to do it. Smart move on his part. He is doing lots for charity right now and is becoming very respected.
No telling what could happen when he's on stage in front of millions.
"A Baldwin at the GOP Convention? What gives?"
Yup! He's a good guy! Thank God!
Their own words.
There's a Christian rock festival called "Creation Festival".
It's held at Agape Farms in Mount Union PA every year.
Well, Stephen was up on the stage speaking to the crowd, and mentioned his brother Billy.
Said he led Billy to Christ, went on to say that they were both going to work on Alec.
Stephen was up on the stage, and ratted his brother out by telling the crowd he was milling about somewhere out there in the crowd.
(My father goes every year, my sister went this year. I stayed home and got to hear dad, who doesn't usually take note of Baldwins, speak about it. Then my sister spoke about it. There's gotta be others who were present AND are FReepers.)
He's the lone Republican Baldwin, from what I understand.
Christmas Dinner must be quite interesting...
No worries. Stephen's a good egg.
What started it was their housekeeper. She's from South America somewhere and sang Christian songs as she cleaned. Stephen asked his wife what the housekeeper was singing and wife told him. Baldwin said to make her stop. The housekeeper said the house was clean, what difference does it make what she sings. Btw, do you know you're going to hell?
Mrs Baldwin was very upset and asked the housekeeper how she could say such a thing. The answer was, come to church with me tonight and find out.
Mrs Baldwin came home from church and told Stephen, did you know you're going to hell? Billy, um William, was next. :-)
You're the first guy to mention this movie in years. I went and saw it in the theaterwith my mom when I was, I dunno, 7?
Thanks for that update. That is encouraging news. All too often I see celebs get saved and then try to keep one foot in both worlds. I'm encouraged when I see one of them sell out for the Lord. Kirk Cameron comes to mind. What a treasure he's turned out to be for the Kingdom of God!
Yeah for Stephen Baldwin. I heard a couple of weeks ago he was a born again Christian. His life will be a lot more happy and complete than his angry brother, Alec.
I liked hearing that he said they're both going to work on Alec..
Wonder if Stephen has an update on the progress so far.
(I have no way of finding out, but it'd be nice to know.)
LOL - What a story. Well if the housekeep got both of them go go she is some housekeeper! Good for her!
Michael the Weird and his Brothers Jackson.
Really? Good for them...
Fingers crossed that it sticks.
Or so the saying goes.
"Stephen also led Billy to the lord and the 2 swear they'll lead Alec to Jesus too."
I'm laughing at my desk! Now I'm in for it!
Perhaps, now, his dumb@ss brother Alec will no longer suggest stoning Republicans to death (i.e. Newt Gingrich)
It would seem that history does not agree with you.
I saw Stephen Baldwin in a recent interview. He really impressed me........I was taken back, considering his brothers' shenannigans.

Stephen Baldwin: Extreme Sports Evangelist
The 700 Club
June 30, 2004
The youngest of the Baldwin brothers talks about his testimony of faith and his extreme sports DVD, Living It.
CBN.com Worldy Life vs. Christian Life
Stephen has been acting in films since the 1980s. He comes from a family of four actor brothers (his older brother is Alec Baldwin). While he was working on the TV show Young Riders (1989-1992), Stephen and his wife, Kennya, needed help around the house with their two daughters. They hired an older housekeeper from Brazil who was a Christian. Stephen says that her love for Jesus shined through her and impacted him greatly.
After the TV series ended, Stephen and his family moved to New York where Kennya started attending a Brazilian church. She became deeply involved in a Bible study and gave her life to the Lord. Kennya began intensely praying for her husband.
Stephen says he gave his life to the Lord at that time, but his interest in Christianity didn't become strong until after the terrorist attacks on September 11th. In March 2002, Stephen was baptized at church.
He realized that there was not a lot of Christian content in the secular marketplace and looked at starting a company that offered quality Christian media to young people. After attending a festival in Syracuse, New York, put on by the Luis Palau Evangelistic Association, Stephen, 37 at the time, was inspired. "I've been to MTV and all of that worldly stuff," he says. "It's death. It's meaningless. All of this is Christian - modern - edgy."
Extreme For Jesus
The term "extreme sports" was coined in 1995 during the Extreme Games (now the X Games) on ESPN. Since that time, many extreme athletes have adopted an alternative style, known as punk and later as grunge. In general, extreme sports contain an element of danger, epitomized by daredevil acrobatic stunts performed while traveling at high speed. Many of these sports are new versions of older sports. For example, BMX racing and mountain biking are both based on cycling; in-line skating is a form of roller skating. Extreme sports have become absorbed into the mainstream mainly because of the competitions.
Kevin Palau, son of evangelist Luis Palau, realized that extreme sports greatly influence the youth culture. For four decades, Luis Palau has reached thousands of young people for Christ using traditional evangelistic methods, but their methods are changing in order to reach more young people. The Luis Palau Evangelistic Association holds six music-evangelism festivals each year. They incorporate BMX riding and skateboarding demonstrations into the festivals and have catapulted the ministry into a fresh, edgy outreach to today's youth. At each festival, 10,000 square foot skate parks are built so that professional skaters and BMX riders can demonstrate their skills while sharing their testimonies.
Kevin and Stephen thought capturing this type of outreach on film was inevitable. They co-produced Livin It, a 40-minute documentary that includes extraordinary sports action and compelling face-to-face, street-style evangelism. Bonus material also includes testimonies from 11 top Christian BMX and skateboard athletes, a gospel message, outtakes, and footage from a festival from a recent spring break.
He even has his own Christian Ministry with Extreme Sports, namely skate boarders and speaks regularly at Christian Festivals for Luis Palau, evangalist out of Portland, OR.
In fact, many of the Christiann groups that perform at the Luis Palau Festivals, i.e. Jacki Valasquez, will also be performing at the G.O.P Convention.

Actually, it seems to have inflamed Alec. See freeper thread
I'm in the business and I know the Baldwins, some better than others. I hope that Stephen is sincere in his conversion but the stories of hookers for him and his crew persist. And, he has signed on to a Snoop Dogg movie where he plays a crooked cop to Snoop's g-sta hero.
Adam Baldwin...My Body Guard with Casey Syzmencho. Set in Chicago. A decent film.
