Lawrence O'Donnell of MSNBC Has Lost His Mind

Posted on 08/24/2004 7:37:03 PM PDT by onyx eyes

On MSNBC tonight, Lawrence O'Donnell, political commentator for MSNBC, sounds like he knows what he is talking about, yet, his arguments in defense of John Kerry, are so asinine and untrue, I could hardly believe my ears.

Desparate days call for desparate measures. From the media, I have to guess. You'd think, from listening to O'Donnell shilling for John Kerry, tonight. Lawrence O'Donnell even kept saying over and over, "it's all lies", "what the Swift Boat Veterans are saying is all lies..."

Heard him. What makes it worse is that Scarborough doesn't stop him. He knows what O'Donnell is saying is not true.

I agree. It's been A LONG WHILE since I've watched MSNBC, and tonight I was flipping around looking for Russian Plane Crash news.
I remember O'Donnell from way back, and he used to do a much better job of hiding his scorn and bias. I USED to think he was pretty savvy, politically, although he leaned the wrong way. It's possible to respect someone's political SKILL, while disagreeing with them.
I was sorely disappointed in his political astuteness tonight.
He seems on the verge of putting his thumbs in his ears and sticking his tongue out at his opponents.

Sounds like O'Donnell was sipping on the same straw as Colmes this evening.

The hatred these people are showing is frightening. We really are going to have to ramp up a much more vigorous anti-drug campaign.

He acts and continues to act exactly like a campaign adviser, not a newsman.

We know who he is advising for sure.

Quite similar to the way the press responded when their boy Clinton was accused of his first batch of scandals. As usual, all the pretence of being objective was dropped.

O'Donnell is a long time Democratic operative. Worked actively in Democratic operatives. Folks, the only way we are ever going to get objective, unbiased news coverage is to hit them in the pocketbook. Subscribe to Direct TV or Comcast or Verizon...cancell Time Warner, NYT, LA Times, Boston Globe etc. etc. All I can think of presently, please post other names.

He said Steve Gardner wasn't with Kerry on any of the questioned medals. What's with that?

I will be so glad when my own book arrives so I will really know what's going onl

I agree. And he let O'Donnell keep talking during Buchanan's turn.

He not only said Steve Gardner was not on the boat with Kerry, he said the whole book was a pack of lies. Or, was it, fabricated?
