Lawrence O'Donnell of MSNBC Has Lost His Mind

Posted on 08/24/2004 7:37:03 PM PDT by onyx eyes

On MSNBC tonight, Lawrence O'Donnell, political commentator for MSNBC, sounds like he knows what he is talking about, yet, his arguments in defense of John Kerry, are so asinine and untrue, I could hardly believe my ears.

Jeffrey Immelt and Bill Gates are out of control.

I was also watching Scarborough, but I couldn't take it anymore and turned to the Home & Garden channel. Right now people are re-designing their bedroom that has an ocean view.

Today I was at an office where headline news was on, and Bob Dole was putting down Kerry. Then the announcer said that Dole was getting mean again, implying that he once had that type of reputation.

I ordered Unfit for Command. I'm contributing to those guys, but I can't take watching the media attack them anymore tonight.

Whatsup with Scarboroug? Ever since Boston -- yet when Bush was in Florida I saw him sitting right behind him while he was speaking???

Of course no one's as bad as Olberman & Matthews... did anyone catch the snide comment Olberman made tonight about Bush saying: "if he'd bothered to have someone READ this mag to him he'd be shocked to hear Pataki wants to run in 08???

It's obvious O'Donnell has not read the book or even the latest news on the subject. He's still repeating the same Dem talking points from 2 weeks ago that none of these guys were on the same boat with Kerry and that every single accusation has been shown to be untrue.

I heard that same thing from Wolf Blitzer Sunday as a teaser.... "Is Bob Dole getting mean again....?"

And next, they've got Bob Kerrey attacking Bob Dole. Well, I don't know how to fight this kind of media bias, or media-control, more like it. All we can do is try and tell our loved ones, our friends, get the word out. They say, Word of Mouth Is The Strongest Advertizing.

Never liked him. Pompous and showboat. Know it all type. Not worth sitting watching him. Guess to be part of MSNBC the prerequisite is pompous, showboat and theatrical. O'Donnell is all three.

I looked around to see if anyone else in the room reacted to that comment and decided they were mostly clueless.

Well, at least watching Scarborough was better than watching Greta.

It has always infuriated me that Bob Dole was considered "mean" until he lost the '96 election. How surprised the media and public were when he turned out to be good natured, loved on Capitol Hill, and downright funny.

It's really important to buy Unfit for Command. If it stays on the NY Slimes bestseller list, it's a statement of support. I plan to give a copy for a gift in Sept.

Those Swiftboat guys must be in a state of shock. I never underestimate Democrats, so nothing they do shocks me anymore. Dems are ruthless and will stop at nothing to destroy these fine men.

Well, like, I thought we had at least ONE station we could watch. Guess not. Loose lips sink ships or I'd say why, I had thought this.

O'Donnell is an admitted Democrat so you know he's biased. I don't know why they can't hire a senior analyst who's actually fair.

Bob Dole is a good guy, and he would have made an honorable president. Bill Clinton wasn't fit to shine his shoes.

"Sounds like O'Donnell was sipping on the same straw as Colmes this evening."

Add to the list Arron Brown over at CNN.

His alleged news show is nothing more than a one hour commentary complete with the days talking points from the DNC. His obvious lack of objectivity (even to the Dems in my office) and his ability to pretend he is actually unbiased are stunning. And, of course, he is constantly using material from the NY Times as if it were the Gospels. He must have sourced the NYT at least a dozen times in the past 48 hours to "disprove" all of the issues raised by the Swift Boat Vets. Did he or CNN actually research the allegations?? Any mention of the 60 to 1 ratio of Democratic vs Republican oriented 527's?? Of course not! Why would they - that's what the New York Times is for.

As a reformed Democrat myself from days gone by, all I can say if Thank the Lord and the Dept of Defense for the Internet!!!

Being old has some advantages -- not many, that's for sure! I remember Dole's first run for president when his rather sharp-tongued humor got him the reputation of being "mean." Of course it was left-wing media spin as always, but they made it stick. Dole developed a "softer" approach in his second presidential run. Since he didn't stand a snowball's chance in hell of winning and was too old to run again, the media finally admitted he was funny and lovable. Now that he's getting some traction against Kerry, Blitzer resurrects the "mean" lie. The media's the problem folks. Nothing will change until it does. American media are the Western arm of World Socialism.

Defund the liberal media! Simply do not spend your $$ on their products. It really is that simple.

Whether Gardner was with Kerry at a medal-opportunity or not isn't the point. Gardner WAS with Kerry hours BEFORE a medal-opportunity, at which time Kerry received the precise wounds he CLAIMED to have suffered DURING the medal-opportunity. What are the chances, Gardner asks, of sustaining the exact injury twice in a day?

I wonder why a analytical mind with clout, such as conservative Tom Clancy cannot get the truth of this thing and lay it out in a orderly manner for the American people?

Clancy has that grasp of how military things work, I think he could destroy the skerry shills in one ten minute segment.

Oh, have ya'll seen that skerry and his band of brothers are all alone going to take the Mekong Delta in their "SHIP". And it will all be in living color in his soon to be released movie made by the usual Hollyweird types, is to be unveiled before or during the NYC GOP convention.

My G-D, 4 months, three band aids, and as per the lefties, the man is the greatest war hero since Audie Murphy.

SICKO, SICKO skerry is a SICKO.
