Well "The Truth" is Kerry whined to one of them...wanting to know "why they were "picking" on him?"

Kerry was basically told that the Swift Boat Veterans for the Truth were answering his charges about them and setting the record straight on his 'embellishments'.....

Kerry's response was that 'he never meant to hurt the Swifties' and that he claimed it was 'the other veterans' who committed atrocities...and not the Swifties....

The Swift Boat Veterans for the Truth...aren't buying any of it....and are equally concerned with Kerry's smearing the reputations of the 'other Vietnam Veterans"

He was a man that didn't go to the officers mess to see how a ship was functioning, he went to the enlisted mess. He went to the see the crew members as they were working. He made a difference to everyone.We who had the benefit from his leadership are not concerned about the clouds that shroud his death. His life is what mattered to us. They cannot taint the his service with the tragedy of his death no matter how hard they try. Zumwalt's Navy was and is dedicated and loyal to the marrow of our bones.
