Quietly Kerry caught lying
Posted on 08/25/2004 5:45:48 AM PDT by slowhand520
John Kerry has admitted two claims made by the Swifties already. That he wasn't in Cambodia and that the first Purple Heart "might have been" self inflicted. You would think the left wing media mafia would be all over this. It seems like the only true reporter has been Major Garett. Kind of frustrating.

To: slowhand520
Kerry also now says he is proud of his anti-War activities. Which is odd, considering he's trying to sue anyone else who expresses an opinion on the matter.
Also, Kerry is calling POWs who took torture in the Hanoi Hilton "petty and pathetic". So I guess he flip flopped on that whole "don't trash veterans" thing.

The left-wing media is Kerry's biggest 527.

The left-wing media is Kerry's biggest 527. I think Michael Moore is the biggest 527, but the liberal media is a close second.

A new four-legged angle actually a dog named "VC" has suddenly materialized surrounding Sen. John Kerry's swift boat service in Vietnam.
In a 2004 presidential candidate questionnaire for Humane USA, Mr. Kerry was asked whether any pets have had an impact on his life.
"I have always had pets in my life, and there are a few that I remember very fondly," Mr. Kerry replied. "When I was serving on a Swift Boat in Vietnam, my crewmates and I had a dog we called VC.
"One day as our Swift Boat was heading up a river, a mine exploded hard under our boat," he continued. "After picking ourselves up, we discovered VC was MIA (missing in action). Several minutes of frantic search followed, after which we thought we'd lost him. We were relieved when another boat called asking if we were missing a dog."
Said Mr. Kerry: "It turns out VC was catapulted from the deck of our boat and landed, confused but unhurt, on the deck of another boat in our patrol." His boat never hit a mine, dog never got catapaulted. Another Lie.

"Dogapult? Help me out here."
The dogapult episode supposed occured when kerry's boat hit a mine (or speedbump, or something) and catapulted his adopted dog, VC, into a nearby boat (although there were really never any other boats nearby, if you believe kerry's minions).
Anyway, Fox and Friends or some other morning show called him on that. kerry's boat was never hit by a mine.
To: commish
Thanks for the fill-in.
I thought the people on the swift boats never saw anybody on other swift boats. How could the dog land on another boat since there were never any other boats near Kerry's boat?
(I'm being facetious)

If te media tries to take that as truth, they now have to admit that the boats patrolled so closely that a dog could be blow, UNHARMED, from one boat to another.
Pretty much sinks the "They weren't on the boat" mantra.

This should be easy to verify, the other crewmembers should be able to easily recall this dog.... oops, I forgot, they are not allowed to talk to anyone are they ?
This should be easy to verify, he should be in some of the hours of home movies Kerry shot... oos I forgot, we are not allowed to see them, are we ?
This should be easy to verify,, he should be mentioned many times in Kerry's journal... oops I forgot, we are not allowed to see them, are we ?

Oh, I thought I heard that on ABC. What was I thinking?
To: RS
Listening to greg browning show on Kxnt here in Indy just now and he is replaying john kerry's visit on Comedy Central last night.
Kerry says Americans are not interested his war record and want an intelligent debate on issues.
The host, jon stuart tries to press him by asking" were you or were you NOT in Cambodia?" Kerry swishes around avoiding answer.
Stuart asks him if he IS the most liberal candidate in the senate? Kerry says 'No',
Stuart asks-have you ever flip-flopped? Kerry doesn't answer but says he counters sound bites like that by speaking to issues or something along those lines. Kerry just spins it.

''Apocalypse Now' also?
Did you get raving drunk before your 'Cambodia mission' like Martin Sheen too?!
Which member of your crew got a spear wedged in his chest?
Who played the Robert Duval character in your tour of duty... John?!!

Not mentioned in the story was how, while VC was being returned to Kerry's boat, he was dropped in the water.
Kerry jumped in, pulled VC back aboard, and administered mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
This combat experience served Kerry well several years later when the family's hamster, gerbil, or some such creature was saved in a similar incident.
