Whats Kerry thinking? How is this going to help his reelection bid? Apart from playing to the Far left? This will go down as yet another example of the traveling freak show that is the Kerry Campaign.

It is pathetic, but probably politically smart. The MSM will now gleefully cover the torture story again and go back to ignoring Kerry's traitorous behavior after Nam.

That's it Kerry. Give the terrorists a win. It's what he does best. Works with terrorists. Just like he worked with the North Vietnamese in Paris.

Actually, this is VERY, VERY good. The Abu Ghraib thing was their last hope in the event Bush wins the election. Now, Kerry is using up even that ammo now! True desperation. Wait till the next rounds come out of the Swifties' guns!

Sure, why not? He knows the partisan media will lead every newscast on radio and TV with it, and the RATS in Congress will fall over themselves to stand in front of a microphone and agree. The only question is how long it will take for one of the RINOs like the Senator from Scotland or one of the Maine witches to join in.

Damned desperate, though. Damned desperate.

This is a brilliant maneuver by the Dems. Bring up something that nobody cared about then or now. Unless you are a power hungry slime democrat.(/laughter)

This is probably another big mistake. It will highlight his questionable conduct in Viet Nam, plus Rumsfeld is a popular part of the Administration.

The media yesterday was openly speculating that the Swift Vets had been in the news too long (man, it's been 2-3 weeks, right?). It's boring, ya know? It was time to move on -- and go back to flogging the Abu Ghraib thing for another 3-4 months.

Kerry is trembling in fear of the documentary some former POW's are apparently producing. And these former POW's are not part of the SBV group.

The POW documentary may be the MOAB that sinks Kerry's flipflopboat.

It looks like Kerry is done throwing a tantrum about mud slinging and has gotten back to mud slinging.

Not gonna happen this time. The prison issue is over because people have already formed their opinions about it. The Swiftboat story is new and getting more and more coverage. I wonder if Kerry would have called for Rumsfeld's resignation if he was speaking before a military group and not a big union? I think we know the answer to that one.

This is like some high school crap.

I guess they're hoping to get pictures of Bush NOT talking to Cleland.

I'm only surprised he isn't calling for the president's resignation.

Kerry Asking For Resignation of Secretary Of Defense

Kerry claimed that he personally committed far worse atrocities than happened at Abu Ghraib. That means he should withdraw from the campaign.

That's the beauty of John Kerry - everything he says and everything he does can't help but blow up in his face because of his past.

This, after the commission investigating Abu Graib said that a Rumsfeld resignation would be a "boon to America's enemies". How appropriate that Kerry would be the first to call for it after that recommendation.
