Try complete and utter desperation. Alternative news sources have wrested control of the election news cycle away from the Dems. They can no longer count on the media to perform their damage control for them in an effective manner. And they haven't figured out a viable alternative.

Kerry has prepared his whole life to be president, planing and strategizing using the Media as his ally, as has been done by liberals for the past 40 years.
