Geez. It's not like he did anything scurrilous--ALL HE DID WAS REFER TO McGREEVY BEING GAY, and McGREEVY DID THAT!

At least he did not call you a "girlie man".

I'm confused. I thought gayness was supposed to be something to be PROUD of. How could playing a gay anthem be anything but a tribute to McGreevey's glorious man love?

Team co-owner Frank Boulton called it "disrespectful."

I could see his point if McGreevey was someone deserving of respect.

He's not.

So now it's disrespectful to acknowledge someone's "gayness"? I though they wanted OUT of the closet. I'd be happy to shove 'em back in...

The announcer for minor league baseball's Atlantic City Surf was fired and the scoreboard operator resigned after dedicating the song "YMCA" to Gov. Jim McGreevey.

They should've been given raises...

"kicking a guy when he's down"??? Since when is the guy "down"? McGreevey is a Democratic hero, an out and proud member of one of their favority "victim" groups, who showed great "courage" by publicly announcing his sex drive proclivities. Who cares if he is an adulterer, an unfaithful spouse and a totally corrupt politician who put his lover boy on the public payroll in an important security position that the lover was not qualified for?

I'd hire them for my local minor league team if I could.

You right-wingers are all alike! I see through your phony sarcasm. Next you are going to tell me that the whole Lewinski affair was about something other than sex.

You said:

"Since when is the guy "down"?"

Why don't you ask his boyfriend?

YMCA is a queer anthem, McGreevey is queer. What's the problem?
