What exactly was the Olympics complaining about?

The committee is upset that there are so many people demanding tickets to all the events that the place is being overrun with patrons and they want no further mention of the Olympics in the media.

What exactly was the Olympics complaining about?

I haven't seen the ad, but I understand that the Bush-Cheney ad trumpets the fact that there are now two more nations sending teams to the Olympics. That's it. The IOC and the USOC are whining because the ad uses the word "Olympics."
