Hey Howlin...thanks for the ping!...I would not have known this was going to be on tonight and I wanted to tape it...I've got a political collection going (my letters to the editor, pictures of my march down Pennsylvania Avenue with the DC Chapter of FR, Clinton's impeachment hearings, W's inauguration, attack on the Twin Towers,...etc...to give to my grandchildren...:) and I didn't want to miss including this!

Okay, I am watching c-span town hall and BOB KERREY explains to joe 6-pack that the US IS FIGHTING TERRORISM IN IRAQ...That the Iraq war is NOT a "distraction" from the WOT? WTF? I thought he was a kool aid drinker...? (chardonaay at dinner apologies in avance for sp???.

Also, marrried to dem techie and mother board fried tonight, expect delay in freeper in commentary...using son's PC in room w/o c-span...

Pat Buchanan doing GREAT work debunking Kerry's account of the Rassmun incident I wrote him a fan email the other day and he responded promptly. His questions are damning to Kerry!

No damage to the boats, no injuries, and Kerry had left the scene so he wouldn't know about "gunfire". GREAT point, and it has Chris Mathews stuttering! And he says, almost conceding the point, "I don't think this is the point". HA!

Yes, Pat doing good, but he doesn't know how to respond to Chris about the Nixon tape. I"ve posted my own reply to that question 2 times already today...one more time won't hurt:

As caught on the Nixon tapes. O'Neill tells Nixon the Swiftboats go in Cambodia, and in the next sentence (which is left out), he further explains it's the border area waterways.

O'Neill further explained to Sean, this is an entirely different border area, no where near where Kerry says he entered Cambodia, because entering Cambodia where Kerry described, was impossible.

From what I heard, O'Neill is describing for Nixon, operations the unit conducted long after Kerry had left Viet Nam. I noticed this charge against O'Neill was a one news cycle attack by Kerry talking heads, and they moved on to other things. If it were true, I think they would have continued to hammer away."

AND AS SOMEONE SMARTER THAN ME SAID, WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE WHAT O'NEILL DID LONG AFTER KERRY HAD LEFT VIET NAM? THAT'S THE TIME FRAME O'NEILL WAS DESCRIBING TO NIXON.

Matthews says that it's a "bad day at black rock" for those questioning Kerry's 'nam record, and just as Pat B. begins to counter back, Matthews says it's time for a commercial, pauses, while Pat B. is forced to quickly condense his words into 3 or 4 words "that's not true, Chris", Matthews then does a longer pause, and says, "o.k..right", with a smirk and a look that came across as "that's all you've got, Pat?"

Matthews has now become obnoxiously funny.

Chris Mathews will never admit he was wrong. he will never apologize to Michelle Malkin, and he will never concede a point to Pat Buchanan. But notice how he just stops talking about the issues at hand and goes to saying how lucky Bush is to have the Swiftboat arguments turn the subject away from the economy. Fineman and Coco are on tonight for a purpose, to discuss Bush's conniving political strategy, and to offer consoling back-up for Chris.

a NC local politician described a man as coming across the Mexican border not because he wanted the American dream but because "He wanted to kill us". I applauded him, although peremptory of Federal terrorism charges brought because he understood that there ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO WANT TO KILL US. YOUR RESPONSE: AWAITING FEDERAL CHARGES FOR TERRORISM...NOT APPROPRIATE IN AN AD. (my response--sue candidates a$$ off if wrong, but applaud a candidate who understands SECURE OUR BORDERS, NOW.)
