There is something here, but I can't figure out what it is.

In defense of Lehman, he is correct------the Secretary of the Navy signs THOUSANDS of documents--and you are smoking something if you believe he is cognizant of every citation.

Still---there is something fishy about John Kerry's citation. I have seveal medal citations in my basement----I could really care less about them and who signed them. What really matters to me is what God thinks of me.

But Kerry is a proven liar (I have the magic hat from Cambodia). That is all you need to know.

Maybe this is why Kerry requested that all his official citations be transfered to "Edge O Sketch."

What are those green things people are holding in the picture? Corn husks? Maybe a palm leaf or two like Jesus on Palm Sunday? I've never seen that photo before.

"Lehman did not personally get involved in the request, or so he says. "

How does one have such a vivid memory of something they didn't participate in?

I think you might have a vivid memory of personally re-issuing a senator's medals, particularly if that senator was famous for throwing them away.

The absense of that memory would be memorable.

The question remains: if Kerry didn't throw away his own medals, why did he need replacements?

That's not what happened," Lehman told The News...

Then by all means, tell us what DID happen, Mr. Lehman.
