The Swifties would do well to have a few Vietnamese immigrants share their thoughts about one John Forbes Kerry.

My town of Garland, Texas--suburb of Dallas--officially recognizes the South Vietnamese flag. We have a Vietnamese community center that recently hosted a reunion of South Vietnamese vets and American vets of the Vietnam war. I wish I could have gone to thank both groups for their service.

Truong Van Tran (no relation)I am pretty sure there are only 2 Vietnamese family names... Nguyen is the other. I think they translate "Family A" and "Family B"

Well, we know John Kerry was bought and paid for in the best Clintonian tradition. Bottling up this 2001 resolution was just icing on the cake. Was it not about a decade ago that he buried (perhaps literally) once and for all the POW/MIA issue in the furtherance of normalization of relations with Vietnam and the closing of a mega-deal with his cousin's firm to handle all Vietnam's real-estate action with western companies setting up in that country?
Would it not be a beautiful, beautiful thing if a Vietnamese-American 527 piled on it's objections (giving America a much-needed history lesson on the post-1975 carnage and oppression that ol' Longshanks did his part to effect) and Kerry's history of carrying Vietnam's water in the senate? You just know the Dems and their minions would start throwing around racial slurs among other filth (recall the abuse of the Miami Cuban "Gusanos" during l'affaire du Elian).

And all of that, after he testified at a Congressional hearing, that "nothing" bad would happen after America left Nam...that the American military were the butchers and baby killers.
Kerry still has NO shame.
