you just don't appreciate the delicate dance of dem tactics Ann uses.

It seems brutal but its a beautiful dance L0L!

Al Gore lost in 2000 because he had no appeal to white rural males. That's what cost him his own state of Tennessee ...

And losing his own state of Tennessee lost him the election.

Thank you, Tennessee!

Did you catch that little bit in the film on W at the 2000 election convention, where it made fun of his problem with words?

It was a little clip of him sitting with Laura, trying to say (if I recall right) that he was there when his daughters were born. But he said something like, "I was there when there was the birthing of... when Laura birthed...." -- and he sort of sighed in exasperation and turned away, and Laura chuckled and put a hand on his knee. It was perfect.

He takes his office seriously. Not himself. That's another separator between him and Mr. War Hero.

Dan

When Ann gets done with them, they are just a bloody mess. She uses master strokes to reduce them to a bloody pulp, but Steyn neatly slices off all the parts and stacks them in the corner.

<< Unfortunately the former, unlike the latter, can vote. >>

I wish!

"The latter," of course, MAY not.

But they can and -- by mail and via their criminal-alien-invader surrogates -- by the hundreds of thousands -- do.

Agreed.

The more i read Ann the more I tend to think she uses republican arguements wrapped in dem tactics.

I do love the way they screech about her viciousness

From my recollection of various financial threads, he's either a gold bug or a short-seller, and good economic news drives him nuts.

You could see that Kerry was pulling 100 baggage cars behind him way back in January. I was shocked when the Dems gave him a free pass. But that's what happens when you don't have a serious press corps in this country (or a press corps that's clearly biased in one direction, which is the same thing).

I don't think that's a fair assessment, Miss Marple, and DU this ain't. I wish Willie Green could find in it in his heart to support G.W. Bush, BUT, his disagreement with today's GOP appears to be principled and consistent.

To me, every current social and spending issue pales in significance beside the battle against islamofascist extremism. The same conservatives who rail against discretionary spending, illegal immigration, and foreign intervention have so far failed to offer any sort of alternate program. They have failed to explain how they would get such a program through Congress. And they have failed to rationally assess the real consequences of having this century's Benedict Arnold in the White House.

Some of these same conservatives relentless complain that the GOP has deviated from the path hewn by Ronald Reagan, while they routinely break Reagan's 11th commandant.

Watch the leftists in the streets of NYC this week, then ask yourself, can you stand aside and allow them to reap the fruits of re-enacting the poisonous age of Vietnam?

Say what you want about the 'moderates', the 'Bushbots', and the 'Neo-Cons', but that flag that you'll see burned in the streets by the anti-US Stalinists and their dupes means the same thing to us as it does to you.

Are you content to be ideologically pure, even if it means bringing traitors and socialists to power?

If so, so be it. Don't expect a warm welcome here when you bitch about the Kerry administration.

WOO HOO for a great article!

I especially like this,
With the candidate's retro braggadocio on ice for the foreseeable future, the Kerry campaign late on Friday revived that old favourite, the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy, . . .

That's exactly it. I've always been struck at how 'different' Ann is from other hardhitting conservatives, but I'd never really put my finger on it. Thanks. To put it less delicately,

Don't wrestle with a pig, you'll both get muddy, but the pig likes it. Ann doesn't bother to wrestle, she just kicks the pig in the balls.
