Recently I have read that John Kerry has told the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth that he was not referring to them in his senate speech in 1971, but to all the other Vietnam War veterans.
Well, we should apply the same standard to this that Kerry and his news pals have used, that is;
That Kerry did not serve in their tent, unit, team, foxhole, aircraft, patrol unit, or squad so therefore he cannot know what these men were doing or not doing.
Therefore, because by his own admission that by these standards the SBVT could not have known what he was doing, he should admit that everything he stated about Vietnam War veterans is a lie, as he had no first hand knowledge.
He did not serve with them!
And most Vietnam War veterans will say they are glad that he didn't!
"... he was not referring to them in his senate speech in 1971, but to all the other Vietnam War veterans."
I may have to take Fang out of the closet and lock him in the basement until November 3.
What an absolute Moronic statement for him to make...but what's new?
kerry stated in 71 he was taking about other veterans instead of swift boaters., if this is the case...
there are THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS MORE that he DESTORYED with his words.
AND THEY VOTE!!!!!!!!!
I'm not talking about the men I served with, but the men whom I have never met...uh..yeah..um those guys did mean things to um people..uhh...at least that's what i heard. Cut off ears...i had a puppy.
Well since he was referring to the other vets not the swift boat vets than HE WAS THE ONLY ONE OF THE SWIFT BOATERS COMMITTING THE ATROCITIES that he confessed to
Shows what a loser he was
Kerry in his brainless mind fails to realize. An insult to any veteran by his commie lover/opportunist scum/coward ass, is an insult to all Vets. Kerry is lucky he was not in the US Army during Viet Nam. Kerry would have been exposed as a fraud/coward and leaderless POS. Kerry would have either been relieved of duty, forced to resign his commission, court martialed or MIA. Jf'nK, the commie naval exchange/false award non-hero. I heard he started a new oraganization for the DNC called, "Psychopaths-R-Us." Bush/Cheney 2004
You talkin' about ME, Ketchup Boy?
CSPAN recently showed his testimony and that's not the impression that I got. He was echoing what had been reported elsewhere.
In the Cavett interview he specifically accuses the Swift Boat groups. Says they got so tired of it that the crews began to mutiny. Got to go to work, so don't have time to find it.
Curious to read the transcripts. I was really speaking toward the allegation that Kerry claimed to have partaken in such atrocities.
On "meet the press", twice, Kerry used first person with regards to atrocities. Admitted burning down villages of innocent women and children, killing livestock and free fire zones (not illegal but unethical).
"He was echoing what had been reported elsewhere."
According to O'Neill on the debate with Kerry on the Cavett show in '71 (and confirmed from other sources):
"Who brought 50 veterans down to Washington to testify about alleged atrocities in April, the same 50 who after they had appeared on every major news network refused to provide any depositions or provide any details of any kind."
And also from that debate:
"MR. CAVETT: Well, let's talk about that. Did you see war crimes committed and
MR. KERRY: Well, I have often talked about this subject. I personally didn't see personal atrocities in the sense that I saw somebody cut a head off or something like that. However, I did take part in free fire zones and I did take part in harassment interdiction fire. I did take part in search-and-destroy missions in which the houses of noncombatants were burned to the ground. And all of these, I find out later on, these acts are contrary to the Hague and Geneva Conventions and to the laws of warfare. So in that sense, anybody who took part in those, if you carry out the applications of the Nuremberg principles, is in fact guilty."
So apparently he never saw any atrocities, but he took part in them!!
Yeah he's really able to take the heat huh? No wonder he turned his boat around. "Bring it On"...yeah right.
