I will be there as soon as I am done watching the interview of President Bush on the Today show.
Let's all stand, recite the Pledge, and then sing the Nat'l Anthem.

The Gatlin Brothers sang a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem.
Invocation was just prayed and now Ed Gillespie introducing Sec of the RNC.
The Gatlin Brothers were great and loved the opening prayer.
Does anybody know of any good webcams to watch the demonstrators? I know there are many available but don't know NY geography enough to know which areas to watch.
Could someone post the schedule of speakers, or link to where the schedule is. Sorry to be lazy instead of searching myself, but it would help out many of us.

Seems like there are a lot more delegates on hand for the openening than there were at the Rat convention.

I don't want to seem racist here, and I would never have noticed had the media made it some kind of point..but when the camera panned the round there are alot more minorities there! Bet the dems want to say they were paid or something.....

Gillespie is running this organizational business through like clockwork. Very crisp, no grandstanding, motions being offered by delegates in an efficient and orderly manner.
Ron Silver is a Democrat but VERY supportive of the president.
He was on FNC this morning and said that all the wailing about Social Security and health benefits will look "morally frivolous" if there is another devastating attack in America.

Yes, and it also seems they intend to do some actual work. Calling various committees to meet seperately. Very business-like in contrast to Dems.
