Posted on 08/30/2004 11:02:41 AM PDT by repubzilla

Sorry if I messes this up it is my first post! This may seem silly, but I would love to have a thread based on all the celebs and other famous folks in our camp we see at the convention. It would add to the fun of it all! Whathca all think?

I would like to see a list also, BUT a list that only posts the ones that are actually for Pres. Bush or agree with the agenda. I don't care about the ones just there for a party or to push their own status.

And that's a good thing, if a bunch of Hollywood celebrities suddenly became Republicans, then I would be worried. They belong with the Rats.

I agree whole-heartedly. The kind of celebrities the GOP embraces were busy getting crushed to death when the Twin Towers collapsed. I'll take the military/fire/EMT/police over Tim Robbins any day.

Last night one of the Baldwin brothers was on Fox. I know it wasn't Alec, LOL, but one of the other brothers (sorry can't remember his first name). He basically said he was voting for Bush because he was a man of faith.

Very good idea, especially since I don't think we should patronize, in any way, those who have been vicious in bashing the President.

Rockers I've read who SUPPORT the President include:
Ted Nugent
Alice Cooper
Gene Simmons (from Kiss)
Kid Rock
Sammy Hagar
Stephen Tyler (Aerosmith)

Many months ago, I read an article that stated Steve Martin and Jerry Seinfeld both support Kerry. But they were nice about it; they wanted to keep their politics to themselves and didn't want to bash the President. I think that's a good approach.

Stephen Baldwin is christian. I suspect he is the Baldwin voting for President Bush.

I totally agree! I have no time for the self promoting rats. I also think that everyone always complains and moans about all the famous lefties out there and that were at the DNC and I do feel there will be a suprising number that will show up. NOT at all in the numbers at the DNC but hey we all on the right always make a big deal when we hear 'bout someone supporting us. The speaker list has a few interesting names from Hollywood and the sports world...We'll take what we can get...

Not so much Steve Martin. He's openly insulted the Pres. on a few occasions...

Casper the friendly ghost might be there as well, but we couldn't see him if he were, so we'll never know.
