WASHINGTON Upon losing a game at the 1925 Baden-Baden tournament, Aaron Nimzowitsch, the great chess theoretician and a superb player, knocked the pieces off the board, jumped on the table and screamed, "How can I lose to this idiot?"

The subject of one prominent new novel is whether George W. Bush should be assassinated. This is all quite unhinged. Good God. What if Bush is re-elected? If they lose to him again, Democrats will need more than just consolation. They'll need therapy. The 'Rats know it's over.

Yes, it's over. The truth is though, the dems need therapy whether Bush wins or loses. I'd say 10% or more of them need intensive therapy including lockdown.

I wish Charles Krauthammer,M.D.
( he practiced medicine for three years as a resident and then chief resident in psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital)
would give us his professional diagnosis of Kerry's mental pathology.
He wisely predicted Dean's breakdown before it happened.

Democrats will need therapy if Bush beats them again I don't think Democrats will need therapy. I think they'll need to be committed or incarcerated. Considering their love of terrorists (which they call "freedom fighters") and the Iraqi insurgents (which they support) and Palestinian bus bombers (whom they cheer), I have no doubt that Democrats will resort to violence if/when Bush wins the election this November.

If they lose to him again, Democrats will need more than just consolation. They'll need therapy. They are all (mostly) already in therapy and taking psychotropic drugs. That's not going to help. The question is, how far will they go during the next 4 years if Bush wins? Keep your powder dry.

You know, it's been interesting watching the protesters in NYC. As near as I can tell, based on what I can decipher from the bile spewing hate filled foaming rants, the entire basis for the support of Kerry is that he's not Bush.
Not the best way to define your platform for leadership if you ask me.

I think your point is a good one. I thought these people needed therapy a long time ago. But now, after President Bush is re-elected, they'll need to be institutionalized.

Re: "If they lose to him again, Democrats will need more than just consolation. They'll need therapy."
When I was a Corpsman working on the psych ward we would mechanically restrain (read tie down) patients who were less unhinged than Demoncrats are today. Then would come large doses of Haldol. All administered with soothing calm words of consolation mixed with reality feedback.
To: wagglebee
The Democrats fell unnaturally silent. For two long, agonizing years, they had to stifle and suppress. Two long years? I seem to recall it lasting about two short weeks. Then the 'Rats resumed tossing crap on the wall to see what would stick. The first thing that stuck was the accusation, months after the fact, that Bush lied with sixteen of his words in his 2003 state of the union speech. I kept thinking that the 'Rats, trying slime after slime, would sooner or later lose credibility--after all, how many times can you be seen to be blatantly wrong in public before you're given as much credence as the boy who cried 'wolf'?
To: wagglebee
The loathing goes far beyond the politicians It does--but not in the terms the author states. The real reason so many hate GW Bush was stated below by the Almighty:
All men will hate you because of me.

" Psychiatrists describe Kerry's thought process as 'magical thinking. "
I think any rational person and especially those who have read Unfit For Command, have to acknowledge that Kerry has some very serious mental a/o emotional problems.
Very serious-far too serious to be anywhere near the Oval Office.
Reading Kerry's own words and those of his family, I believe that Kerry suffers from depression, post traumatic stress disorder, narcissistic personality disorder ( NPD ) and thanks to your tagline- magical thinking.
Which is why he refuses to release his military and medical records.

Assuming Bush is re-elected on a huge margin (thus making Democrat fraud and challenges irrelevant), the interview I want to watch on Nov 3 is with Michael Moore - assuming he hasn't locked himself in a room with several cases of twinkies.

I'm gratified that I got my latest column in print, "Why John Kerry Is Now Toast," before Krauthammer and others came out with their Monday columns and articles. A lot of knowledgable people are reaching the conclusion that the Kerry Campaign is crashing and burning.
The next important question is why? I see it as a marketing failure -- planning for suicide, without realizing that it is suicide. IMHO.
