This is a glimpse of our future here in the US.

Can you imagine the impact on our media coverage of such an attack here in the US? Remember Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado? We still have the scars here in Colorado. The Terrorists are RUTHLESS and seeking media coverage of their acts designed to paralize our society. I fear and believe that Al-Queda and their sympathizers will attack the ultimate "soft targets" in the US, our school children.

Perhaps -- just perhaps -- Al Qaeda is terrified by what our response would be if they pulled something like that. It's widely believed that bin Laden in no way expected us to respond the way we did after 9-11. I have to wonder if 9/11 would have even gone forward if he thought we'd turn around and dismantle Afghanistan and put his operatives on the run.

It seems to me that, if bin Laden is alive, there are two scenarios in play:

1) Nuclear attack on CONUS, or

2) Taking control of Pakistan

I don't think they want to invite the pain unless they can either unleash catastrophic damage or gain possession of Pakistan's arsenal as deterrant.

The tiresome 'Religion of Peace' mantra may be nothing but an advertising gimmick spouted while we put the Arabs in a strategic vise but the masses of third world immigrants entering the US and the ease with which illegals enter the US is reality and one the political elite of both parties seems comfortable with.

The sort of terrorist actions that have happened and are happening right now in Russia are what we can expect here unless a great many of us raise literal h-ll about the border and immigration situations.

The curriculum at my kids's school requires marksmanship training. The head teacher is armed with an AR-15, and two of my three kids also have (VERY) ready access to weapons at the school. Specifically, an M59/66 Yugo SKS, and another Armalite A2, AR-15. The principal personally keeps an FN-FAL handy. The school keeps a substantial quantity of ammunition just "in case".

It's a great school. We love it. There are prayers to God written by the students taped on the hallway walls, and school is started every morning with prayers of petition, praise, and requests to God almighty.... The God of Abraham, and of Jacob. The students are well ahead of their peers in their academic studies, and they excell through continuous encouragement and individual attention by their teacher.

Oh...I almost forgot to mention..... we HOMESCHOOL.

Remember Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado? We still have the scars here in Colorado.

Well get over it. We had Muhammad and Malvo running around my neighborhood for three weeks, and it's long forgotten. I shop at the infamous Home Depot every couple of weeks, and drive within 15 feet of Malvo's shooting position regularly (a shortcut around traffic lights on the way home from work).

If the Islamists pulled anything like the Chechnyans, America would go ballistic against Muslims in America, and even the terrorists know that. A real Phyrric victory.

The only thing to be concerned about is the Islamists obtaining a nuke, and getting it onto American soil.

This is a very touchy situation and I for one am glad I'm not in Putin's shoes today. These children are in incredible danger and with the explosives now in the school, I can't conceive of a safe plan for their rescue. It will be interesting to hear a statement from Putin - I hope one comes soon.
