Wasn't it great seeing Zell taking on spitting Christine Matthews?

Thank goodness for FR. I rarely channel surf to MSNBC, but got news that Miller was going to be on Matthews' program, and figured it would be good. I was not disappointed, in fact was darn near cheering!! Good "old school" tell-it-like-it-is discourse. It was awesome. Matthews should get a dose of that every day, or at least from every conservative that goes on his program.

Did you notice how Chrissy melted when Zell challenged him?

Just like a school yard bully!
I hope his other guests take the que.

That was the best speech I have heard in years. Even my kids were cheering and clapping throughout.

My kids had been impressed by Arnold's speech, but they were both floored by Mr. Miller's. My 12 year old son said after it was over that he felt even prouder to be an American now. (I emailed Mr. Miller to let him know.)

As a mother I cannot tell you how happy that made my heart.

Want documented PROOF that Zell is right? Go here:

The libs are already spinning the talking point that Kerry was just voting agains pork-laden Omnibus bills. He didn't really oppose all those weapons programs. That is a LIE. Go to the above link and see the truth.

Chrissie Matthews tried that spin last night with Zell. Then tried it on J.C. Watts, who was having none of it.

You are your voting record. No matter what the reason.

Yup. Now that I watched a replay of Zell on Softball, I think the document in the linked thread is the SAME one from which Zell was reading last night.

Kerry cannot run away from his record.

I just watched the video of Zell's speech...WOW. Never has the phrase "righteous fury" been more appropriate. He had that place rocking like a Saturday night tent revival.

To borrow a phrase someone in the crowd yelled..."Preach it, Brother Zell!"

You needn't explain yourself yo me, my friend.
I had a sense for what you were trying to say had a +/- component to it.

Your point was quite salient.

...& well taken. ;^)

After delivering his speech, Sen. Miller was invited for chut by the three CNN heavies.

They tried to intimidate him, they were angry, and in the end they snapped: "With these views of yours, why don't you just swap the parties and join Republicans?!"

The old man looked at them with horror and answered: "Some day I'll die and meet again Mum and Dad. What would I say them?!"

The C(ommunist) N(ews) N(etwork) collective jaw dropped. They saw him being absolutely serious. They were lost for words.

At his age, does he really care about political ambition? He'll sell plenty of books anyhow. I think he just has the kind of character that would rather be an example to his progeny than popular in his party.

Hallelujah! I don't have a TV, so I rely on internet for this stuff. This brought tears to my eyes! I hope it resonated well within the walls of millions of households in America!

"At his age, does he really care about political ambition?"

Not really sure he cared much about all that at any age, my friend.

"He'll sell plenty of books anyhow."

Think so?
It'll be interesting to see if the man in fact does write a book, and, what it'll have to say.
Although personally, I've got an idea what it'd say. {g}

"I think he just has the kind of character that would rather be an example to his progeny than popular in his party."

I totally agree, and that quality just beams from the guy.

Just think.
Of the entire political left -- and much of the righ for that matter -- Zell Miller's character stands head & shoulders above the rest.

Because he's honest.

...kind of sad.

He's currently got a book out there. One that states the Democrat Party is a party no more. Or, in my words, how the Clintons and Terri MacAwful have turned the DNC into a socialist party.

"He's currently got a book out there."

Thanks for the tip, my friend.

"...One that states the Democrat Party is a party no more. Or, in my words, how the Clintons and Terri MacAwful have turned the DNC into a socialist party."

Well I was right about what I thought he'd write about in a book he authored.

And on the topic of Clintigula?
Sounds like years of *slime* & *sludge* finally caught up to 'em, huh.

Now McAuful won't be so fortunate.
The rot growing inside that one?

...is *lethal*.
