Brad Carson. The ONLY Dem Rep. from Oaklahoma. And get this, Coburn is a former Rep...FROM CARSON'S DISTRICT!!! He term-limited himself to 3 terms like he said he would, then, he wasn't even considering this race, but a 'draft Coburn' movement got started, and he had written a speech to give saying he wasn't running, then, a few hours before he was going to deliver it, he threw it away and started the race.

Did I forget to mention that he's the former Rep from Carson's district? And that there are 4 other districts in Oaklahoma, ALL of which are R's? He's gonna slaughter him.

Dr. Coburn promised that if elected to the Senate......the judicial nominees WILL get an up or down vote. To quote him "I'll lock it up."

"We'll do nothing until this issue is resolved."

We did a tour of the World with my eldest Jedi's cub scout troop...they showed us a HUGH roll of newspaper paper...the tour guide said "It looks just like a big roll of toilet paper, doesn't it?" and it was all I could do not to say "That's what it looks like after you print the news on it."

The sad part of it is that when I was living in Tulsa 20 years ago (did I really say that... my goodness!), the World was the paper that had some fairness to it, while the evening Tulsa Tribune was the liberal rag. I guess it's defunct now. Come to think of it, I think they were both owned by the same company -- playing both sides of the fence.

Glad to see Tom Coburn's hat is back in the ring. A very good man...
