I don't post many vanities, but I hope you'll indulge me in memory of a former FReeper.

Post away. I had a crush on her too.

Thanks for posting. I thought about her last night as well.

Thanks for that! Barbara was a peach and is greatly missed by many of us. I only wish we had better pictures of her.

I still have a thank you note Freepmail from Barbara that she sent me 1 day shy of 3 months before 9/11.
I refuse to delete it.

Having a monent of silence for Barbara and her family. How can people forget her and the other victims of 9/11,those of Israel, and around the world, so soon, and not want to do EVERYthing possible to stop the terrorists? How can they not see that George W Bush is the man to do it,the man who is doing it? I really and truly believe that many on the left ARE putting their self-interest and special intersts,no matter how petty in the scheme of things, above national security, which is tantamount in my opinion to blithely dismissing that horrible day and all the victims then, before, and since. How selfish can they be?

Funny thing, I was thinking of her today too. I keep a picture and note from Ted that he sent after I sent a condolence card. We owe her (and him) so much. God Bless The America so many have died for!

That completely choked me up.

Many, many thanks for reminding us of that gracious & beautiful friend. How is Ted? I haven't seen or heard anything of him in a long time.

Thank you for this post. I had no idea that others had had the same longings.
