It's fun to do that sometimes, and I even point out the similarities between their positions now and then -- especially when they're accusing us of being so. But really at a time like this it offers no improvement to the situation. It's best for us to discuss the opposing party as misguided.

Remember, enemies beyond our borders win when we abandon our commitment to the rule of law, campaign period traditions, and the electoral process.

We are not abandoning the rule of law the other side is doing so. Simply sticking to the line that the Democrats are "merely misguided" is like a busted weld under a fresh coat of paint it looks good but you don't want to bet your life on it. If push comes to shove it is better to be ready to fight & to be victorious than to be caught flat footed & get your head kicked in.
