Barnes and Noble will have it by the front door with all the other Bush hating books. What else is new? Anyone who wanted to write an I hate GW book found a publisher.

From the article:

"The Family: The Real Story of the Bush Dynasty is being advertised in the Republican National Convention Guide -- distributed to 20,000 delegates and staff members at the GOP confab!"

Sounds like a repeat of the Richard Clarke strategy!

I love her books! They are catty, chatty, badly written fluff pieces.

After reading Chernow's "Hamilton" and "Titan" this month, I need to rest my brain and read a story as silly as Sun Magazine and BatBoy's latest love.

(Yes, I know book title's are underlined, but haven't the vaguest idea where the command is on this thing.)

Speaking of Unfit. Still have yet to see it anywhere here in SoCA. The arrogant smart ass clerks smile when they see that I'm trying to look for it.

If 20,000 copies are out there as of the now-completed convention, why aren't we hearing more about this?

I would expect that excerpts would be all over the place by now ...

The book isn't out there, it's the Republican guide with an advertisement for the book.

The strategy with Clarke's book will work here as well. The White House encourages all of its people to read it. Play it off as the entertaining "fluff" that it is. That will be the ultimate discredit...

I was surprised to read that Larry King is refusing to have her on his show on this topic.

Wonder if he'll change his mind.

One thing in the book is saying that Bush paid for a woman to abort his child many, many years ago. I'm sure they paid some RAT witch to do this. Actually, even if it was true, it would have been long before he came to the Lord. Kelley is the same witch that said Nancy Reagan was sleeping with Frank Sinatra.

If she had put it out 60-90 days ago I would be worried but now it's so close to the election no one will believe it.

I'm with you Jack.

I can think of better uses than a book by this ditz....

She savaged some other good people with her gossip type vendetta.

I hope her book sinks and they have to give it away or pave the sidewalk in front of Barnes and Noble with copies.

Larry Flynt has been touting that same rumor for years, claiming the doctor remembered Bush. That's just laughable, and an obvious lie -- I doubt an abortion doctor would be able to remember a single patient, let alone the boyfriend of a patient. If Flynt had the goods, he would have spilled it in his new book, but he didn't.

Is that the same story that came out in the 2000 election, by Larry Flynt? I can't believe she can get any traction on that one! When that came out, the woman involved was tracked down and asked about it. She just laughed and said that couldn't have happened! She said there was no baby between she and GWB to abort; because they'd never had sex! Are they seriously going to dig up that again?

This author was the one who claimed she found a woman who claimed RR raped her; and then again, no real proof it ever even happened! The one about #41 is one that worries me. But if it is about that gal that worked in the WW that he was connected with, that was debunked too!

However, as with the slew of Bush-bashing books out there, telling lies about him; I have a feeling this one will be discounted by the people who truly know/support GWB and his family! After all these years, and all these campaigns; something like that would've sunk those campaigns completely if they were true! They can't really believe that all of us are so stupid, that we'll fall for another tell-all book!

Another thing, no matter what all allegations, most of them proven or provable about the Clinton's, it didn't keep him out of the WH, or kick him out with impeachment! With good and decent men such as Bush/Cheney, where most stuff is made up, or slightly true, but twisted out of shape, they shouldn't have any problem, should they?
