I did it with Zell Miller's speech. It worked perfectly on the first try. Fantastic.
Even easier: Get a DVD player that plays WMV.

All links posted. I'm using Streambox-VCR which takes all forms of streaming/non-streaming protocols including mms and I'm keep getting no file found msg.

Then the problem is Streambox.
I downloaded with Flash get and it worked beautifully.
It worked perfectly on the first try. Fantastic.
You have done a wounderful job. Thanks.
Keep posting this weekly to the freepr.
We need to spread it.
I've downloaded all the speeches except GWB's. But I'm having trouble understanding what you mean by creating the new directory named "vid" and how to move the files to it. Any further thoughts for such a GWB/AS/ZM/RC/RG fan who is slower on these things than I would like to be?
diretory=folder
Create a new folder named vid and drag and drop the WMV files into it. The playlist expects the video files to be there.
Thanks a lot, Grig. I'm onto it, but will have to break for dinner soon. Looking forward to having the CD. My memory is already overloaded with the speech data.
for later. Thanks.
Call Steele's office in Annapolis. I'll bet they can steer you to a copy.
bump for later
And the other copies that I got with that Chinese doohickey don't have any sound.
Thanks for the reply. I will call Steele's office this week. I checked the MD Lt. Gov. website and did not see it posted there. Hopefully thet can put it there for us.
Thanks so much for this info, Grig!
