WHEN THE KILLERS COME FOR THE KIDS
NYPOST ^ | September 4, 2004 | Ralph Peters

Posted on 09/04/2004 8:00:04 AM PDT by jolie560

THE mass murder of children revolts the human psyche. Herod sending his henchmen to massacre the infants of Bethlehem haunts the Gospels. Nothing in our time was crueler than what the Germans did to children during the Holocaust. Slaughtering the innocents violates a universal human taboo. Or a nearly universal one. Those Muslims who preach Jihad against the West decided years ago that killing Jewish or Christian children is not only acceptable, but pleasing to their god when done by "martyrs."

It isn't politically correct to say this, of course. We're supposed to pretend that Islam is a "religion of peace." All right, then: It's time for Muslims to stand up for the once-noble, nearly lost traditions of their faith and condemn what Arab and Chechen terrorists and blasphemers did in the Russian town of Beslan.

If Muslim religious leaders around the world will not publicly condemn the taking of children as hostages and their subsequent slaughter — if those "men of faith" will not issue a condemnation without reservations or caveats — then no one need pretend any longer that all religions are equally sound and moral.

What do you expect from a society that sends its own children to their deaths with bombs strapped to them? Even animals have the instinct to protect their young.

It was absolutely despicable. But is it any worse than 9/11? How many children were in the WTC and on those planes? How many children had one or both parents taken from them out of those 3,000 murders? Does a child suffer more when it's killed or kept hostage for a few days than one whose parents are senselessly and gruesomely murdered?

Those are not questions we want to think about or comparisons we are even capable of weighing and coming to some firm conclusion. The fact is that all these terrorist attacks are of the lowest most vile expressions of human hatred and delusion possible. There is no reason to treat these scum with any more consideration than one gives a rabid dog or a lethal bacteria. Exterminate them whenever and whereever they appear with extreme prejudice.

I always try to drop a plug in for RP's novels. Everyone out there should pick up "War in 2020" (unfortunate title, amazing read) and "Flames of Heaven." He also does a great Civil War series under the pen name "Owen Harry." Too much talent . . .

I wonder when we will have the guts to say openly that we are not engaged in a "War on Terror". We are engaged in a War with Islam, there should be no doubt of that. The world has seen with this barbarity committed by courageous Arab "holy warriors" that islam is the enemy - not "radical" islam. There is no distinction. Muslims world-wide need to stand up and indicate they are with the rest of the civilized world or they are with the islamic barbarians. There is no other term for these individuals.

A final thought: Did any of those protesters who came to Manhattan to denounce our liberation of 50 million Muslims stay an extra day to protest the massacre in Russia? Of course not.

The protesters no more care for dead Russian children than they care for dead Kurds or for the hundreds of thousands of Arabs that Saddam Hussein executed. Or for the ongoing Arab-Muslim slaughter of blacks in Sudan. Nothing's a crime to those protesters unless the deed was committed by America.

Check history. It is necessary to de-humanize your enemy so when you begin killing them with reckless abandon, it’s just like shooting beer cans off a fence post. Muslims, islamofacists, anyone that even looks toward Mecca once during the day have a toe over the line. The west won’t have to fire up the propaganda machine to accomplish the necessary de-humanizing. They are doing it for us.

Just makes you wonder how much more the west will take before we start shooting those beer cans off the fence.

I no longer use the word terrorist. It is too generic.

I use the words Arab Islamofascist. That is what they are and it is time to call them what they are. Every time a policically correct (or apologetic) so called journalist reports on these terrors they dance around what they are, even providing sympathetic names like rebel or resistance fighter.

I encourage everyone to call them what they are. Arab Islamofascist. Once the blame becomes more specific it will naturally lead to specific solutions. Lets take the anonymous identity off of these people and call them what they are.

These people better watch out because if enough trouble is caused in a country like Russia they might just find one of their homelands nuked.

If a stunt like this were to be pulled in the US I would imagine that we would see a response similar to what happened in Nepal when the people took to the streets and burned down the Mosque.

I remember when I was innocent and naive. Cambodia awakened me from my stupor and I've never been able to escape into innocence again.

In many cases children have died as the result of war but this attack was different it was aimed directly against children . They planned to kill children and they wanted to kill children. In their hatred they wanted to hurt profoundly and knew that losing a child is one of the most profound pains that any parent can have.

Hopefully, they have begun the ending of this evil. Hopefully, the world will awaken to the evil in its midst and acquire the resolve of President Bush to hunt down this evil. But I am no longer naive enough to believe that they will.

They will sit in their lofty places placating the minions with sops and the minions will demand more and they will promise more but they will not take the chance that someone may vote against them. They will not be brave until they are forced to so I won't hold my breath.

As many as 600 dead in a town of 30,000 (TWO PERCENT OF THE POPULATION). One family lost their four daughters. Many children lost both eyes. Most of the living kids at the hospital were shot in the back by the scum as they tried to escape after the bombs went off. WHERE ARE THE CONDEMNATIONS OF THIS ATROCITY BY THE MULLAHS AND THE IMAMS AND THE MOSQUES? THEY ARE SILENT IN THE UNITED STATES. CONSIDER WHY!!!!

"The silence has been deafening..."

We must listen closer:

Russian Muslims Condemn School Hostage-Taking

Russian soldiers walk behind a child near the school seized by heavily armed masked men

By Damir Ahmed, IOL Correspondent

MOSCOW, September 2 (IslamOnline.net & News Agencies) – Muslim leaders in Russia have sharply condemned holding hundreds of children hostage by an armed group in the north of the country.

A number of armed men and women, some strapped with explosives, broke into a school in the town of Beslan in North Ossetia on Wednesday, September 1, killing seven people, and herding pupils, parents and teachers into a gym.

The Russian Fatwa Council denounced the abduction, saying it is "a terrorist act that Islam totally refuses and forbids."

"The council condemns the act of taking hostages and the metro blast taken place Tuesday in northern Moscow," Ramil Bilayev, the council's spokesman told IslamOnline.net over phone.

He went on: "The council's chairman Ravil Gainutdin had described what happened as a terrorist act that Islam totally refuses and forbids and urged for a swift release of the hostages."

"Heinous Crime"

The religious council for North Caucasian Muslims said the hostage taking is "a heinous terrorist crime" that inflicted pain and suffering on families of the hostages.

The council described the kidnappers as "savages", as they had kidnapped "innocent children who have nothing to do with the practices of the incumbent officials".

Reports said the hostage takers want Russian troops to leave Chechnya and the release of Chechen fighters held in Ingushetia.

The World Organization for Islamic Call in Russia also added a voice of denunciation of the kidnappers.

"Taking children and women hostages would not be a solution to the problems, but rather will create bitterness, wrath and derision towards Islam and Muslims in Russia and everywhere," the organization said in a statement.

It called for an immediate unconditional swift release of all hostages.

The kidnappers released 26 of the hostages – mostly women and children – earlier in the day, with many more than 200 others still entrapped inside, after the appeal.

Russia has a Muslim population of 23 million, representing roughly 15 percent of its 145 million populations, according to a 2003 census.

"Criminals"

Also, the mufti of Chechnya joined the foray, saying: "The terrorist criminals who have seized the school and children have once again shown their savage face,"

"We, Muslim leaders of Chechnya, resolutely condemn the terrorist acts that have been committed," Akhmed-Haji Shamayev, the mufti of Chechnya, told the Interfax news agency.

Shamayev said the abductors are not Muslims as Islam calls for mercy and doing good for all peoples including those of other faiths.

"They are people without faith, they are no Muslims.

Islam is a great religion, which calls for doing good for people and for nations. Those who know a few things about Muslim religion will know that the words 'Islam' and 'terror' cannot be used together."

Shamayev offered help of the Chechen Muslims to secure the release of the school hostages.

"The Muslims of Chechnya are ready for any help that is needed for the release of the hostages in Beslan," the mufti said.

Still, it was not clear who the latest attackers of the school were.

Chechen separatist leader Aslan Maskhadov has denied that his forces are involved in the siege.

There are Chechens and Ingushis among the kidnappers. They speak good Russian," North Ossetian Interior Minister Kazbek Dzantiyev told reporters said, without elaborating.

The hostage ordeal came one day after at least 10 people were killed and dozens injured, when officials said a female bomber blew herself up outside a busy Moscow subway station.

The explosion caused scenes of carnage outside the Rizhsky station in central Moscow, just a week after 90 people were killed in bomb attacks that brought down two passenger jets and that were blamed on Chechen fighters.

You see, the condemnations are out there, I Googled and found even more, and worded stronger. What we are failing to do is giving them sufficient air time to encourage even more condemnations.

Then we arm and organize those condemning the terrorists, and set them on one another.

Let them fight one another, and we pick off the remains.

The author said "An attack on children is an attack on all humanity." Truer words have never been spoken. The islamists have set the stage for their own, well-deserved destruction. It remains to be seen whether or not we do the right thing, and rise to the occasion and annihilate this vile pox on mankind. islam is at a crossroads: it can retreat from its present course of hatred and bigotry and savagery and death, and thus rehabilitate itself; or it can be finally and completely destroyed. I think islam has opted for the latter. If that's the case, then let's accommodate it.

Actually, there are quite a few condemnations there, and there have been a lot all along. We are failing miserably at giving them airtime, and that's a huge mistake.

I'd have a little sympathy for the rabid dog. Dogs don't get rabies on purpose. Animals and bacteria only do what is in their nature to do.

These SOB's make a conscious decision to perform an evil act (yes, evil really does exist, no matter what the pseudointellectuals say). It doesn't take much intellectual effort to de-humanize these people. They've already de-humanized themselves.

I'd have no problem giving them one to the heart and one to the head, then go have a big bowl of cake and ice cream to celebrate.

You mean "what the MSM is failing to do. Add that to the long list of lies, inaccuracies, distortions and blank holes the Fourth Estate is responsible for. If there are innocent Muslims that condemn these atrocities and refute the radical view of Islam and they end up being persecuted or killed then the MSM can take its share of the blame for it.

They lied about Vietnam and they are lying about Iraq and they lie about Pres. Bush. Their honor is little better than the terrorists. Someday 'innocent' columnists and editors may be protesting their persecution.

I am so sick and beside myself over this incident. The MSM is reeling, wondering how they can spin this evil so that the Security Moms and Dads don't leans towards Bush this November. The DUummies are already making claims that Bush and Putin may have orchestrated this horror to gain points on the war against terror and votes. Unbelievable--yet that is the mindset of the left. That's why weaklings and appeasers like John Kerry must never be President during these evil times!!!
