They really believe this is 1968 and the war is taking place in Viet Nam. This was the high point of the liberal, boomers life and effectiveness and they have never recovered. If they could defeat the country in Viet Nam why not in Iraq? The answer is simple--the nation has grown and moved on and they have not.
