I am just now getting to your report and pictures and loving every bit of it! Thanks for the pep talk and thanks also for putting the protestors in their place!
I loved every minute of being there, and enjoyed cheering on the crowd with the protesters..
I think the cops appreciated what I did too..
I went to Academy too! Class of '89!!!
Hey Uncle Rus!!

Hey! Another Academy grad! We went to the very sad closing of AHS in 1992. Only filled half the stadium then. Final tune: "The Lion Sleeps Tonight."
The school has been beautifully renovated and changed to Northwest Collegiate Academy, for future docs, engineers, etc.
"Oh we'll carry on 'til the stars are gone, for Academy the Gold and Blue!"
HiYa Uncle Ron!!
This is the first time I have seen a post of yours.
It took President Bush to get you. : )
Yes the camera works great as you can see.
We were about 300 feet away from them, had to zoom in
and when I edited them I brought them even closer.
It was a great event, I am doing what I can to get the
Republicans to put pressure on the Pres to come here.
Don't know if it will work but I'm gonna keep trying.
I'm in the Finger Lakes. It was about a 200 mile trip to Erie. FReeping with the W. NY folks is a possibility. Sure wish Dubya could campaign in NY. He might be able to turn it around. Just want him re-elected, though, and I'm sure he knows how to spend his time the best.
Ours was the third rally Pres. Bush did on Saturday before Air Force One took him and his family home to Washington. What I loved the best was the way he ran up the steps of the stage, eager to address the crowd. Seeing Laura, Barbara and Jenna was quite a bonus!
I'll never EVER forget that wonderful day.
Great report. Thanks for posting the link to it on A Day in the Life of President Bush.
