Kerry Speaks in Cincinnati Today
Senator John Kerry will give what is being billed as a "major policy speech" at the Museum Center this morning. The event is not open to the general public. The audience will consist of several hundred invited supporters.
Kerry is expected to criticize President Bush's handling of the Iraq War. The Museum Center is the location in which President Bush two years ago outlined his case for war with Iraq.
Political analysts have been urging Kerry to spend more time attacking the President, and less time discussing his record in Vietnam, and he seems to have been taking that advice in the few days. Recently the Kerry campaign has added several experienced Democratic campaigners, including former Clinton press secretary Joe Lockhart.

Bush's audiences have been in the tens of thousands. Kerry manages to get a few hundred in a room..
Does this fool know that you live there? Bad mistake.
Several Hundred invited guests?
Ive noticed that seems to be the case ever since Half the people at the stubenville rally turned out to be against Kerry.
The Stubenville rally was open to the public
This makes about the third rally this week not open to the public...and where the venue has been shrunk to hundreds.
You could see the direction he's going to take by his speech from yesterday. Like the rest of the rats and the media, I expect he will try to capitalize on the death toll reaching 1,000. He didn't even offer his condolences or a prayer for the fallen -- he just ripped right into the President. Definitely unfit for command.
ALL hanoi john flip flop has done is ATTACK GW.
Earth to Kerry..........we are already in Iraq.
I don't see the purpose of
'preaching to the choir' ralleys,
unless you ask for a donation.
Enough said.
Precisely my thought, chesty - but we know Kerry is not smart.
Why doesn't he trying giving a press interview?
Kerry hasn't answered questions from his travelling press corps, met for a one-on-one interview or made himself available to the press in any other way....since AUGUST 2nd!!! Or, to put it another way...since the Swifty's first ad.
Can you imagine how the presstitutes would be screaming if Bush were in such a "bubble"?
Southern Ohio is not a Kerry-friendly region.
Kerry can come out as an anti-war activist OR he can come out as a hawk.
Prediction: Since this speech is in conservative S. Ohio and he needs to win this battleground state
KERRY WILL COME OUT AS A BORN-AGAIN HAWK.
(flip/flop)
You've got that right.
I watched Senator Kerry giving a speech this a.m. What shocked me was the Senator's appearance. He looked drawn and almost dehydrated. He was either very tired or he has an ongoing medical issue that is not being reported.
xzins, you are spot on. Cincinnati is most definitely NOT Kerry country. They had to look long and hard to find a hundred people to invite to this crap. There's no way he would have held this in a public forum. Heckling doesn't begin to cover what he would have gotten here.
