Hooooah!
BTTT
Rather disappointing production values. The Swift Vote Veterans do a better job.
What states is this ad going to be in?
Nice to see the facts being presented truthfully to the American people. The old media will never allow this to be seen...
I'm not sure. You can check http://www.vietnamveteransagainstjohnkerry.com for the details...
I hope this doesn't air. Lousy production values, fire hose approach, nothing to link Kerry to the plot (in terms of supporting it). Has VRWC written all over it, and that don't earn votes.
Which markets will this ad run in?
Have the Swift Boat Vets done an ad recently? I just received a request for another donation.
LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!
Very lame. Announcer talking way too fast, cramming in too much info. Sounds like a late night used car offer. No music, choppy images, no GRAVITAS. Not even close to the impact of the Swiftie ads.
Cheesey music!
I think it is very powerful...he was there and made no attempt to contract the FBI.
Why were no charges brought against Kerry or his comrades when this assassination plot was voted on? Sounds like a case of 'Conspiracy to commit murder' to me???????
This should get some attention.
Not good...
Announcer sounds like he's selling cars.
Picture go by too quickly.
Way too much verbiage.
Way too upbeat sounding

The message is good, but the music and production value is weak.
ouch! that ought to hurt!
Locally done in Fayetteville, I believe. It is only being aired in the NC area with military bases nearby, such as Fayetteville and Goldsboro.
This whole Vietnam approach is soon going to have run its course and the average 30-second attention span American wil be bored with this issue. In short, what Kerry did or didn't do in Vietnam and in his post-war activities is only going to generate so much voter reaction. I really think it's time the ad campaigns started focussing on Kerry's pathetic, i.e. non-existent service record in the Senate. I'm amazed that I haven't seen anything to speak of on this subject in terms of political ads; yet this seems to me to be more relevant than anything else you could say about Kerry. The man has done nothing for 20 years. What makes anyone think he's going to start doing anything starting in January 2005?

I'll say... sounds like a kiosk booth advertisement for some product at a Fuller Brush sales convention.
Went back and watched again, missed the music entirely the first time through. God, the music sucks. It's sets a mood counter to the intention of the ad. If you just watch without paying close attention to the yakking announcer, it sounds like music from a highlight film and almost makes Kerry look heroic. And who wrote the copy? Pathetic. Need to edit out about half of what is said, for example calling Kerry the "much celebrated leader" of anything makes him sound way too legitimate.
Ouch! That's going to leave a mark
So what will the spin be now? He was actually a CIA plant in the VVAW, recommended by his buddy in Cambodia? Looks like the Kerry-go-round might be spinning out of control.
THAT will leave A mark
I agree. The narrator talks so fast in some parts you can hardly understand what he is saying. A more concise message would be much more effective.
In any case, FNC will give it coverage do to the damning charges so it will 'go national' eventually.
btw, as Hanoi John is NOW saying he's proud of his actions after coming home and "speaking out", it will be a hoot to see him flip-flop and spin this.
You are right!
BUMP!
Wheee!!!! This is fun!
hows about naming each senator with a pic and announcing something like "Hey senator xxx! John Kerrys' pals in VVAW want to assissinate you" Then show a sniper shooting from an upstairs window. Name each senator. Then say something like "Kerry's pals want each of you dead. How do you feel about his becomming president - can you work with someone who wants you dead?" sound of a gunshot. fade to red.
You're right. Also, now that they've been baited out of their stealth (DNC Convention) mode and are veering wayyyyy negative in a blind rage it's time to go "Morning in America" on them. Gotta love it when a plan comes together.
As part of the small segment of the population that know about Kerry's attendence at this meeting, we get the commercial. I doubt that the average listener will understand the message this video attempts to convey. I like your idea.
You don't understand the repressed anger of millions of Vietnam vets.
It isn't going to just fade away this time.
A little too hard-sell, fast talking, used car salesman sounding for me.
Needs to be a lot more solemn, slow and serious.
The ad's a whole lot better than I thought it would be. Hard to put that much info into 60 and 30-second spots, tho.
rub the dems noses inoto the fact that this guy as wirse than the mafia - he's a radical bomb throwing terrorist who would kill his own mother to score political points with the enemies of our country.
he hates you. he hates me. he hates all who love freedom. He needs to be exposed in all his ugliness so that every person who pulls the level on his name feels a shiver of dread, and reconsiders.
VVAW was a criminal enterprise and Kerry was the CEO. people need to know this in no uncertain terms.
Past is prologue, and most people realize it.

They really should use someone else for the narration on these ads. The guys voice is beyond annoying.

Take a look at these three short video clips, especially the last one. You will walk away with a heavy heart.
Here is a link to page full of video and audio links.
"Stolen Honor" is at the top.

Here's what I have so far:
No offense but this is a terrible TV ad. It works fine a an internet ad, but would play terribly on TV.
First of all it needs to be reduce to 30 seconds.
Secondly of all it needs a new narrator that speaks more slowly.
Thirdly it needs to be more focused. If you try to say too much in an ad people can't remember what they saw. The ad needs to make no more than 3 points. If it focuses on just three, people will remember them and the idea will be much more effective.
Fourthly, I need to proofread before I hit submit.
I hope this doesnt air. It really isnt very well produced. Good sentiment though.
Three things that need to change.
1. The music is too happy, it needs to be gloomier for its subject matter.
2. The announcer speaks to fast and has too much information in too little time. Stick to one or two subjects, Assasination plot and communism.
3. The article that reads Kerry quits over assination plot should be changed, its more helpful to Kerry with that headline. Quote from a newspaper how John Kerry's head of Veterans for Kerry, John Hurley pressured a man to lie about Kerry's involvement at the KC meeting.
I agree. If anything, it plays to Kerry.
I agree.
But timing is everything. Right now I want to see the issue move from "medals" to "Viet Nam Vets Against the War". The public needs to know that Kerry met with the communists, denounced his fellow Vets, admitted to being a war criminal and attended a meeting where the VVAW voted on whether to murder sitting US Senators.
Then let's move on to his empty-suit role as the most liberal member of the Senate.
I agree. I ofcourse didnt make the AD.
