'60 Minutes' Documents on Bush Might Be Fake
(CNSNews.com) - The 32-year-old documents produced Wednesday by the CBS News program "60 Minutes," shedding a negative light on President Bush's service in the Texas Air National Guard, may have been forged using a current word processing program, according to typography experts. Three independent typography experts told CNSNews.com they were suspicious of the documents from 1972 and 1973 because they were typed using a proportional font, not common at that time, and they used a superscript font feature found in today's Microsoft Word program. More to Come
This is good. By casting doubts on this story we will only negate the Kerry's camp's dirty tricks and make them look worse. Anything that they try after this can be deemed suspect. It's all about perception and if they are seen as reaching for the lowest slime possible, it makes Bush look good.
Page 36 D will have it ...They cannot completely ignore it.
Excellent work on this one, FRiend!
Well, Drudge is reporting it now. So everyone in the media is looking at it. We should know one way or another in a few hours.
This, along with the AP catch.. Hell of a month!
Gentlemen and Ladies, the cat is now out of the bag, and she's a live one!
But HOW do we get the word out about the fraud beyond the world of the Internet?
Link from Drudge to powerlineblog is SLOW!!!!! That's good news!!!
Well, it wasn't the white house. They got their copies from CBS.
CBS 60 Minutes Hit Piece on Bush
This should be enough to put a LOT of heat on CBS if you're willing to do the work. Complain to CBS advertisers. Most of these are advertisers that were involved with the 60 Minutes slam on Bush, but hey, complain to them and ask for them to pull their advertising from the Bush Hating CBS...
