Which of course started with the Clinton administration.
That is a truly touching video. Thanks for posting the link.
Barbara was the real deal. She is greatly missed.
Ping
We're thinking of you.
I remember.
She was a wonderful presence on all those talk shows ...she had a keen mind and a wicked sense of humor. I sure miss her
" I want "revenge". "
Did you see the movie Tombstone? Referring to Wyatt Earp going after the gang who killed his brother, Doc Holliday said it's not revenge, it's a reckoning.
May your memory be eternal, bko.
I met Barbara Olsen at a small gathering in a house in Sugarland, Tx when she was promoting her book "Hell to Pay". She was bright, funny, friendly, and warm. It was horrible watching what was going on live, but it really didn't strike home until it was announced that she had been on the plane that struck the Pentagon. Somehow, the moment became very personal for me. Someone I had met face to face was now part of a terrible moment in history. She was strong, brave to the last, unflinching in her efforts to keep others calm and verify the situation to her husband.
Rest in peace, Barbara.
Rest in peace all those who were murdered viciously by the barbarians.
And may the terrorists still be experiencing their innards torn out of them while they watch demons torture them.
BKO was on that flight because she was flying out to do Bill Maher's show about Gary Condit. She was supposed to fly out the day before (Monday), but Tuesday was Ted's birthday and she wanted to be there with him that morning so changed her flight plans.

Have you tried the term "pig f*ckers" ?
Remember, it was popularized by a democRAT, LBJ. :-)
I think of Barbara Olson every day.........I think of Ted and wonder if I could be as strong as he. They were a lovely couple, so devoted, so in love.....then the demons came and took a lovely and talented lady along with so many others. Never forget.
I do miss Barbara Olson very much.
What a lady --witty, charming, intelligent to the 'nth...and dead via the terrorists.

SEPTEMBER 11, 2001: ATTACK ON AMERICA! (Updated)

You wanna really get emotional....watch Ted Olsen's tribute to Barbara (C-span).
I believe so.
Of all the posts I've read so far, yours moved me to tears.
Okay, so I've been in tears on and off all day... it's September 11th, here in Australia, but IIRC the towers didn't fall, and the Pentagon wasn't hit (at least that I knew of) until the very early morning of September 12th.
There were many of us here in Australia who didn't get much sleep that night. Even seeing the pictures still makes me cry.
Never forget. Always remember. To BKO, former Freeper, and to all the others who perished on that horrible day...
In tears,
KaJac
And I miss you, BKO.
I often think of Ted Olson's courage and what he faces every 9/11....the sorrow of the loss of his beloved Barbara and his own birthday.
Does anyone recall if he wrote a book about Barbara and what he has endured since her loss?
Rest in Peace Sweet Angel Barbara!
