CNN Headline News a few minutes ago said a former Japanese official had said GW told him some time ago that his father had pulled strings to get him into the Texas Air National Guard. In the next breath, CNN said that the documents Rather and CBS had produced looked to be bogus since a doc. expert said they were likely computer generated. So it seems as if CNN is hanging over both sides of the fence here. Slam Bush as best they can, then slide the shiv into CBS. Didn't catch the name or rank of the Japanese govt. official, sorry

You forget that cBS GAVE the memos TO the WH, not the WH to cBS. So how could Rove have had them forged? And a sloppy forgery at that. I would have thought that Rove would have had some one more knowlegable of military matters to do it. After all Rove is a brilliant man.

This is sloppy work done by some on with an axe to grind against Dubya on the internet, who didn't have a ton of knowledge about military docs, that the kerry camp found and gave to blather and cBS thinking or not carring if they were real as long as they damaged Dubya.
