They must renounce the jihad in oath and deed. The burden of proof is on them. BTW, has any Muslim cleric issued a fatwa against bin Laden. Other than Iranian Americans, has there been any kind of Muslim rally against the Islamofascists. I recall none.

I'm not necessarily arguing with you. But it seems to me we have two ways of winning: kill every Muslim we can lay hands on or liberalize the Muslims. I've told my wife short of killing them all - which at some point becomes pretty hard core - we've got to export liberalism to these people. We've got to turn them into a bunch of college professors and artists and people who ride bikes instead of blowing up busses. Essentially, we've got to turn them into a bunch of girlie men, as Arnold would say.
This kind of apology is very liberal and leftist (remember Clinton apologizing for everything), and it's the kind of thing we need to encourage if we're going to beat them.
Or, we find this guy, stick a .357 barrel down his throat and feed him his apology in a hollow point.
I could flip a coin, but the hollow points are going to get messy.

How can someone apologize for something they did not do? These people obviously had no role in the attacks or any culpability. The only people who apologize are the ones who are not guilty of anything!

I have to tell you all that I have muslim friends (Bosnians) who are so ashamed at the events that have transpired. They really do hang their heads literally when we talk of the events of 9-11. But, these are European muslims, who would be called lapsed if Catholic as they drink and socialize/date non-muslims. As I tell them..we are all embarrased by arab behavior. But I can tell you that they are respectable people and only the murderers deserve our disdain. There are good muslims...they just aren't arabs.
It would be a nice start. Muslims may enact this in the US. Will they be able to enact it in Europe and the Middle East?
They haven't stopped the carnage. "We are sorry" doesn't cut it. They have to take up arms against their own - the oil-rich radicals like OBL's father. Radical Islam is plague. "Moderate" apologists and pretenders are AIDS. Their goal is to weaken our defenses. The apology must come with the heads of all terrorist supporters, "spiritual" and financial.
In the end, we must use whichever way works.

Rusty Humphies read this on his radio show yesterday. All I could think of as he read it was how can we trust them? How do we know this guys telling the truth? The answer is we don't. And as Islam, at it's very core says to Kill all the Unbelievers, well then this guy and every Muslim with a lick of sense needs to convert to Christianity ASAP, and Islam needs to be banned worldwide, for good and forever IMHO.
