camel just broke my back. I have been patient with them knowing costco brass supports kerry. my business membership is going to be returned by mail on monday because they are selling kelly book. don't mind if they are selling in the store but for goodness sakes you do not have to promote it on your front page. if your a member of costco, consider doing it or tell those jackrabbits to take this book, with no credibility off their webpage.

On a side note, the Sam's Club in Franklin, WI has a bunch of copies of Unfit for Command for sale. Has the publisher finally gotten caught up with orders?

Costco in Central Phoenix has Unfit for Command but had most on a pallet on the floor under the book tables. A few were on the table but had been hidden. I put a bunch more out but people kept covering them up. I guess all the old f*arts did it between snacking on the free food. I saw a couple of them doing it.

went to customer service on website and sent an email and told them to take it off of the front page. I am also requesting a full refund. those of you who have progressive insurance should do the same.
should boycott the companies that advertise on CBS's 60 lies and 60 lies 2.
we have to stop the attempting hijacking of this election by the kerry komrades.

On a positive note, the book itself will do zero damage. Only rabid RATs will buy and read it.

The MSM coverage of the issues in the book may hurt W a little, but most of the charges are so outrageous and unsubstantiated that I see the impact being minimal. Rathergate also helps insulate Bush from fallout from the charges as well.

You have to be an imbecile to shop there anyway.

I'd rather pay 1% more than stand in a Soviet style checkout line.

Seems Florida will be looking for home improvement supplies ......... perhaps purchasing items from local businesses rather than Home Depot, would better serve rebuilding the community and it's economic condition... as well as the added benefit of not playing footsie with trolls.

Their newsletters that come in the mail have also taken a decidedly political slant of the leftist variety. Do they really think they're going to gain more members than they lose with deliberately offending? Why don't they STFU and be a store, for crying out loud?

Why do liberals think the whole world is entitled to their opinion?

call it what you want, the wholesale companies have been helpful place for business, pharmacy, auto needs etc.
dont get your reference to soviet checkout line. depending on the time you go into a store, you must likely will stand in line.

What is wrong with them selling the book? You sound like the liberals that complained about book stores selling Unfit For Command. If you don't like the book, don't buy it.

I bought a copy of Tommy Franks' new book at my local Costco 2 days ago for $15. Well below the prices I have seen it at other places. Are you going to complain about them selling that one too?

I hate Costco anymore... They will not take VISA cards, their membership costs too much and they treat you like criminals in their own store. One of the things that they do, is after you check-out, and while you are on the way to the outer doors, some Security Guard comes over and rifles through everything in your cart to make sure that the items match your reciept... So me and my boyfriend are in shopping, and we have 2 seperate check-outs that they put into the same cart... Well, just image the fun when they stop me going out of the store, and they rifle my cart, and they find WAY MORE STUFF in there than what my reciept shows...BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP the klaxons go off like somebody just had a heart lockup in ICU or something... Needless to say they had to back off and issue big apologies when they finally calmed down enough for my boyfriend to pull his reciept out of his shirtpocket... you would think that over the years they would be used to couples having seperate orders and leaving with it all shoved in one cart, especially since their check-out personell were the ones to load the cart... AMAZING and I wont shop there anymore...

What is it about people crowding around the free sample stations? I hate going to Sam's for that reason alone. I don't care how old they are, they block the aisle and I want to ram them with my cart.

There. I feel much better now.

Gotta say, that's Sam's Club too. I can deal with the Visa as mines a debit card so I write a check instead (which lets me float the night before my paycheck is deposited ;) But being made to wait in line AFTER I've just spent a considerable sum of money gets my "Rude Customer" blood up something awful. I've simply walked past the line a few times when they had people backed up four carts deep. No legal jeopardy to me as I do have a valid reciept if they make a public scene.

My hubby and I are two imbeciles who like to shop at Sam's. We certainly find more than 5 pound jars of Mayo. Best prices on Christmas toys for one.

Mainly I wanted to say that a Soviet Style checkout line would mean we waited for hours and then found out the store had nothing to buy. I don't get the analogy.

Just sent them mine. It's all true.

Hello.

Today my husband and I decided to purchase a membership to either your Costco Wholesale or to Sam's Club. Not knowing which would better serve our needs, I visited both company websites for help with our decision.

The decision was easier than I thought it was going to be! Clicking on the Costco homepage, I *immediately* knew that I'd reached my decision. I wish other things in life could be so easy. :)

Costco Wholesale will not be getting our money. Your decision to place the Kitty Kelly book on your front page told me all I needed to know about your company values and leadership.

And so...to Sam's Club it is. Thank you again for your help.

Sincerely,
Sam's Club's newest member

Nor did I. hope our friend Rome can let us in on the joke. as I said, I use them both all the time, will be just 1 soon though. Just want Costco to remove it from the front page of their website.
If filled my pull up with mayo last year. it was cheaper than water.

We had joined in 1986, oh by the way, when you dump them, you get back your full membership fees.
