This is probably old news to most of the experienced members here, but I was noochin around for CBS stuff and Mel Karmazin in particular...found his "declared" political contributions.

He's the COO or CEO of Viacom (CBS parent). Definitely a democratic supporter. Must be nice having a whole broadcast network in your pocket when you are political party.
The only republican was John McCain and that was probably Don Imus' influence.
