But the reputation is easily ruined with ONE act of kindness.
After that, everybody trumpets what a truly nice person you are.
*sigh*

There's a LOT to be said for the Lovable Rogue With the Heart of Gold...
LOTS of ways to work the Bad Boy Mojo!

What's this? Are you ill?
I hope not! But the lack of
Haiku worries me!

Now THAT I believe in. In fact, I feel the urge to share a religious experience with them right now.

LOL!
I am very pleased
That short circuits in your brain
Is the only cause!

LOL!
That always earns me the 'You're more like a brother' comment..
Most annoying while dating, hysterical at times when it's heard in odd situations.

I tend to base my judgements off the fact that I see me from my side of 'the plastic eyeballs/window panes' and see what goes on inside my head.
Ugh, what a chaotic mess.
There's literally a cartoon in there...

Baaah, sometimes there's a reason to beat meself up over certain things.

I agree.
Personal responsability is paramount.
What I am trying to get across is that you're a great guy!
And that you should relax a bit, not worry so much and learn how to cook!
( We like guys who can cook. It's facinating!)

I'm terrible at cooking now, out of practice.
The kitchen I have access to is terrible to try and cook in.

Sorry to hear it!
( Hey, I taught an old Vietnam Vet to cook, and he was married 18 months later!
It DOES help!
Oh! BTW!
You've got mail!
( Since I am interfering with your life, anyway!)

"Witchcraft blamed as stones rain on family"
I've got to believe the story. This is usually one of the indications I get when mother-in-law approachs, the sky raining stones, a 20 degree drop in temperature, cat's howling at the moon and a general sense of impending doom.
To: tiamat
The missus doesn't like the thought of me cooking anything.
Says I'm too much of a carnivore.

Actually, she may be right.
Given the choice, I'd chow down steak, chicken, and such without regard to balance it.
