"...as the memos they gave CBS. "
Flat out stating it - the RNC accuses the DNC of suppling the forged documents - wonder if they know something we don't ?

To make a blunt statement such as that, you would hope they do.

This quote is going to be framed and hung by my front door.
Looks like the GOP is about to turn up the heat on the Dems failed conspiracy.

Ah, remember, it's all about the seriousness of the charge. They are asking he respond to forged documents about charges only formally admitted to IN these fraudulent documents. Turnabout is fair play. Besides, I think there is a trail back to the DNC. maybe they are taking O'Neil's and daring them to sue, in hopes of legal discovery.
To: RWR8189
Perfect response. Since CBS won't release the name of their "source" (I vote for moveon.org), it will drive Dan Rather nuts to have the blame put on the sKerry campaign. Jenjis John is the one who would have benefited from the memo ruse (if FR hadn't caught them), so he looks guilty unless proven otherwise. If Rather caves and names his source, CBS takes another big hit. Win/win situation all around.

I heard someone today say that DNC aides were making verbatim statements from the forgeries several months ago.

We need to press ahead on this.Watching the History channel last night on the Battle of Cold Harbor. Grant and his Generals made a huge mistake by not pressing forward when they had the Confederates on the run. One day delay and the Rebs built impenetrable breast works and when the Union forces charged they were slaughtered. Made me think about Falluja too.

We are pressing forward, but we need reinforcements.
We need the GOP to take the Democrats to task publicly and fearlessly.
We need the authorities to investigate these fraudulent documents, a crime was committed here.
Also, we need to shift gears now and begin demanding loudly that CBS reveal its source for these documents.
The only way for CBS to prove their case is to reveal the source. They have played a game of trying to impeach the evidence which discredits the documents in an attempt to call it even and say "it is still possible that these documents may be legitimate", while not even attempting to affirmatively prove them as such. They are going for a stalemate. They believe that such a stalemate will allow them at least to leave the baseless accusations lingering.
CBS is making a charge they cannot prove, and are challenging the world to prove them wrong. They are the ones who must provide affirmative proof. We must demand this. We must make the message that in light of the questions raised, CBS must provide proof that their accusations are true or retract the claim and admit the documents are forgeries.
In order to prove affirmatively that the documents are authentic, they must divulge their source for them. If they retract their accusation and admit the documents are fraudulent, then the criminals who perpetrated this crime have no right to confidentiality and must be exposed.

crushkerry today received a little info from a Dem. insider, in which that person suspect that MoveOn.org produced these memos, and also passen them on to CBS. That also means, that the DNC and Kerry knew about it
