yes, she's a democrat, a fund raising democrat for the Clintons, but when news of Monica came out, she called Bill Clinton and canceled his appearance on her opening show of the season because she thought it would offend her viewers.
I'm all for bashing bonehead democrats, especially the ones who inhabit Martha's world...but beating up on her for finally doing the right thing is something I"m not going to do.
Martha is going to jail for lying about something she did...accepting stock tips from a friend....and that's something my husband and I do all the time.

Martha is no fool! By the time they assign her a site and she reports will probably be late October. She spends a few days of October, November, and then surprise an early out for the holidays in mid December. Still time, but not the five months she was given.
The egalitarian motive runs strong in this country, but it rarely results in miscarriage of justice. This is one instance it did.
Wow. What a lynch mob mentality. Why not burn her at the stake? Its one thing to think she deserves what she is getting, but it is not normal to take joy in it.
