Kerry did serve as an officer in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. And he did win a Silver Star and three Purple Hearts. So far, so good. But when he returned home, he became a war protester. In America, of course, everybody is free to agree or disagree with a government policy. But Kerry did not just disagree; he became a leader of groups that championed our nations foes while our forces were still fighting and dying.
In 1971, the Communist Daily World delightedly published photos of him speaking to demonstrators as a leader of Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW). The April 23, 1971 Daily World boasted that the marchers displayed a banner depicting a portrait of Communist Party leader Angela Davis, who was on record stating: "I am dedicated to the overthrow of your system of government and your society."
By frequently participating in VVAWs demonstrations, Kerry found himself marching alongside what the Boston Herald Traveler identified as "revolutionary Communists." While noting that known Reds had openly organized these events, the December 12, 1971 Herald Traveler reported the presence of an "abundance of Vietcong flags, clenched fists raised in the air, and placards plainly bearing legends in support of China, Cuba, the USSR, North Korea and the Hanoi government."

More proof that: todays democrats=yesterday socialist/communists
Does anyone know what medals Kerry actually rated, including the Silver Star, Bronze Star and Purple Heart, National Defense etc. I am curious on just how many medals he could have thrown over the fence?
Your subject?
I think the 'Aw, Jeez' dude should be an honorary Freeper.
Why would you post the "Not this BS again" icon, in regards to this article?
John Kerry was in Vietnam?
John Birch Society
* Kerry used the deferment system for all it was worth.
* He then enlisted in the USNR to avoid getting involved.
* He transferred to PCFs when they were safe PT-109 duty.
* When did he find out about "SEALORD", and why was he
17 days late reporting as ordered to Vietnam?
He at least did not flee the field under fire (usually).
We can give him that.
* He gamed the medal system and scammed a BS, SS and 3xPH.
* He has 2 citations for the BS, and 3 for the SS, why?
* He bingoed out on the 3PHs. Most heros didn't.
* He was still a USNR officer while he:
- gave false hearsay testimony to Congress
- negotiated with the enemy
- helped the US lose a war
- abetted in the deaths of millions
- created a hostile environment for all servicemen
* He gamed the Reserve system to skip out on 2 years of
drills (yes, the same JFK questioning GWB's ANG service)
* He waited until a dim-witted Democrat was President
before requesting a Discharge, why?
* He has not released all his records, why?
Some war hero.
[Picture of Jane Fonda], If Jane Fonda was running for President today, would you vote for her?
Then they should show all the different video of she and he together including the picture of Kerry in the N. Vietnam war museum.
At the end, the voiceover should say, "At least Ms. Fonda Apologized."
Quite alright though. The message got through.
Sort of makes you wonder how he is still a viable candidate for the presidency, now doesn't it?

I might add that the Swifties are not all in agreement
that Kerry is not in fact AWOL over this. My position
is that Kerry can clear it up. He only needs to be asked
to explain how he managed to avoid the drills.
