Its seems odd that country proclaiming a commitment to Freedom supports the closure of the only real free press in most of the middle east - Al Jazeera. Even Alister Campbell aplogist for the UK governement and a supporter of muting the TV station during the invasion of Iraq now agrees how important the station is to free speech.
So all of you neo-cons with your spin on Freedom for the Iraqi people how about letting them watch what ever TV station they wish to switch on. And let Al Jazeera report from Iraqi what has an emerging democracy ocuupied by freedom loving democracies got to fear from free sppech

No broadcast entity that promotes the overthrow of a government, encourages violence or promotes the messages of enemies of the State should be allowed to brodcast. They should be in jail.
You do not have that freedom here. Al Jazeera does not deserve that freedom in Iraq.
