A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

1) Click on the graphic to open the Calendar. 2) Once there you can click on any month and even click to the right to go into next year. Once you are in the month that you joined FR you will need to click on the number in the calendar and then an add item screen will come up. 3) In the next box enter your name in the "Calendar Text" field and then click on submit. 4) If any of the screens fail to load simply click on refresh in your browser and that will usually fix it. 5) If all else fails or simply if you want me to do this for you send me a FReepmail and I will gladly do it for you. ~Mixer

Everyone Needs a Hug You've got that - and especially the folks down south dealing with the aftermath of yet another huge storm.

Morning, Gabz - - we're finally getting some sporadic rain and stronger winds here on the west side of South Carolina, but doubt it will get very intense.
Unlike you, we still have a rainfall deficit for this year, the Spring unusually dry.
The corn crops were pathetic in many areas, many fields with seeds not germinating on dry ground.
Does your little one enjoy school?
Have her barn kitties yet?

Thanks for thread Billie.. and this darling pix of the little gal at the recent Pres speech.. to contrast with the poor 3 year old who was harrassed by Union workers when she held a GWB sign at a Kerry function.
Have a nice weekend all.. starting rainy here..

Good morning, Billie. Hadn't talked to you in a few days. This little girl is adorable. Someone posted the picture on the "Day in the life of President Bush" thread yesterday.
I am so happy today. I'm gone back to work Monday and so looking forward to it.
Hope you all have a fantastic Friday.

It's wonderful you are recovering well, Tg, and able to get back to a more normal life.
Apparently your relatives in Louisiana were spared the devastation of many a little father east. I'm so glad!

We're under a flood watch until Sunday - but I don't think we're going to get anything near as bad as folks like you way to the west of us.
Corn and tomato crops here were devastated this year - they all drowned. What didn't drown in my garden was eaten by the deer :(
I'm not sure who likes school more, Jax or me!!!

I'm assuming I would probably have to use pipe cleaners inside the braids to get them to stay put, what do you think?
If I can find some today I will try and experiment with it over the weekend. If it works I'll send you a pic.

Hi, Dolly. I know - that picture broke my heart. I will never understand how ANYONE can be cruel to a child or an animal. Never! They are the lowest kind of human being there is.

Local news said W. gave the little girl a kiss at the rally. I'm sorry - I missed this sentence earlier! Yes, there was a picture on the thread that tglstahoma (sp?) posted. It was so cute - I started to include it this morning, but now I've 'lost' that pic. :(
