Bulletin boards are more 'closed' or 'self-selected communities' than blogs.

Also a blog usually have one (or a few) person running it and making the primary post while everyone else comments on those. If Jim Robinson posted the articles and we commented on them FR would be a blog.

Good point.

Lucky for me, my computer here doesn't generate speech. It'd be like the 'pit' at the echanges.
